um, in FFT for the psp, are attacks with animations supposed to look all slow-mo, or is that just a problem with my system?

EDIT - I just youtubed it and I think that the animations ARE supposed to go slow, but I could use some conformation from someone who also has the game.

system error ( My friend had the game on his PSP before it came out!! Lol1!1!)
It played the sound effects late...He bought it and it ran slow( he deleted some files of his PSP And THEN it ran quickly)
