What's with fads?

Assuming this is in the right place, move it if it's not.

I've been here for about a week, or so, and one question I have is, why do some of you have inventory screens in your sigs?

Could someone clarify the purpose for me?

It's a sig fad. People think it's awesome to give each other imaginary items so everyone hopped on the bandwagon. This place gets more like Gaia every day.

Yeah, I usually jump on stuff to make it a fad. Like Grandy's avatar, codec, etc. I like making one persons stuff into fads, but I just don't like this one :/

Ha ha, oh boy. It's just a Fad that was started by Ed. We have trends every once and a whille.
Most pepole get into it when the're bored. It's kind of fun. I might redo my inventory.
