The mod.
It only seems to work for creatures; I tried to make a tank and everything on one side was upsidedown. And I ASSUMED that applied for everything else.
Also, some of my asymmetrical monsters get deleted off of Sporepedia instantly for some reason. It could just be a RIGHT NOW bug but more than likely it doesn't like them asymmetrical.

STILL, FUN

So, this is a small kick, but...
I need some help.
In the tribal stage, while I was destroying one tribe, another tribe came over to start destroying me. Well, my game saved after I destroyed said tribe. So, most of my tribesmen have limited health and I have to fight off six other tribesmen who have full health. They all have axes, and they've already started destroying my hut. No matter what I do, they either destroy the hut or kill off all of my men.
Does anybody have any tips, or am I fscked?

I haven't a clue what "fscked" means, but it sounds like a classic case of poorly timed save. Is this an autosave or quicksave or what? I don't know what types the game has, but if it's an autosave, you may have an older manual save or quicksave to load from.

Of course, if this works on a "one save file per game" thing, or you manual saved over your only save, you've learned your lesson the hard way - keep manual saves and quicksaves if you're also using autosaves. Also, keep multiple save files (I recommend two, alternating which one you save on each time). Hope this isn't the case, but if so, then you're clearly up Shit Creek with nary a paddle to be found.

Spore is awesome. Got in on the 2nd of september (3 days before release) and it rules. Though, my laptop is quite weak so I can't really enjoy it to the fullest but still. Also the 3 times only installing bugs me... I already installed it on my and my gf's laptop. The next time will be the final one... Lame.

Heck, you'd be surprised--EA Games is getting sued because of Spore!

See, Spore uses a special program that's embedded inside of it to know how many computers it has been installed into. The thing is, even if you uninstall Spore, the program stays in your computer, sending information to EA. People are in the process of suing EA, as they interpret such a program as an 'invasion of privacy'.

Can't say I don't agree with them...

It's also considered spyware by many people because of how it works. Also, you can't remove it without a special program. Real inconvenience. It's known as DRM, or Digital Rights Management, and while it's legal since the user must agree to use it to also use the product, it's rather annoying. DRM is used by many companies other than EA - Apple, Valve, Activision, and others either have or currently use DRM to protect their products from piracy. Ironically, the gamer community has resorted to extreme usage of piracy to show that the DRM isn't working, and that by using it, the legitimate customers are made to suffer the inconveniences brought up by DRM. It's become a case of DRM hurting sales more than it's done to ensure them. The style in which EA uses its DRM is perhaps the greatest controversy, since it has many more restriction than other forms have.

Wow--I didn't know Apple used DMC; such a letdown....T_T Regardless, this is quite the well-informed post you got here, Archem; nice job.
Also--fix'd. ^_^
