 Just what does it means, anyway? I use it a lot to make fun of british people (no offense intended, well, yeah, you know what I mean) But I never found what it meant. Yes, I did JFGI, but found nothing really explanatory.

Looked it up on duh intarwebs, and the most likely sounding one said that a "pip" is one of the stars on a uniform denoting rank
