one issue with Charas

one problem i have is that there are items in the CharSet generator that dont exist in the BattleCharSet generator, and vice versa. this makes it very difficult for someone with little/no graphics or editing skills to get a solid set of sheets for a character.

i dont know if anyone would be willing to try to make crossovers of sets but it would be greatly appreciated.

This is probably because making battle charsets is possibly one of the hardest things a spriter can do in terms of RPG Maker. Unfortunately.

However, what exactly do you mean? I suppose you meant that there are some charsets that are not in battlecharset form? If that's the case, well, tough luck, I'm afraid. Charas isn't going to give you your full set of matching resources on its own. You'll have to go elsewhere. It's more for the odd NPC or two that you can't find amongst your charsets, I suppose.

That's what I thought you meant.

As Lucas said, they're two separate tools and were not designed to provide linking resources. The resources are provided by members of the community, so you can't expect them to go as far as to make cross-over resources for all their submissions.

The battlechar generator is horrifically limited though; I'll give you that. Maybe people aren't sure how to submit resources for it? Hell, I can't remember how to submit resources for it at the moment >.>

Charas needs a sprite sized b-char generator, fact.

If you go for spritesized, you usually have different weapons and poses for each char. So that wouldnt work.

Not ture, you could use my weapon templete. It was made so that sprite size'd characters could use weapons so I'd be glad to see it used for this sort of generator. Could we make a new generator?

There are some battlechar templates in the resources section. The best ones are InsaneJP's. You could try making some using those.
