I didn't really like Re4 that much. They barley gave Leon any health, Ashley or whatever her name is is completley usless, and the game over thing? YOU ARE DEAD thanks for saying that I didn't know that especially since my head is over there and my body is over there, and there, and there. What are ya buying? Hehe that merchant made me laugh for some reason.

Fatal Frame 3 during the final battle against whats her face when you have to run away from her (basiclly when the screen turns black and white). And if ya didn't do that then she kills ya in one hit, but afterwards I saw for some reason she hugs Rei just after she just killed you.

I agree with OP. When I fought against Lavos for the first time, and lost...eesh...[spoiler]all you see is rampant destruction, ending with a shot of the reddened Earth. Lavos' ever-terrifying scream fills the air as the screen declares: BUT THE WORLD REFUSED TO CHANGE![/spoiler]

I was 14 when I saw that...and I wanted to sleep with the light on. Honestly.

Also: I think that the game-over for "I Wanna Be The Guy: The Movie: The Game" needs consideration, considering the conditions in which it happens.

Breath of Fire 5 has a pretty neat game over when your D-counter reaches 100%. The D-counter is basically a representation of how much your dragon powers are taking over your body or something like that, it increases a lot when you use your dragon abilities, or very slowly by just walking around.
