That would be a Catholic Christian. Not a protestant.
Catholics are narrow minded and listens to what the pope says.
Protestants allows people to believe and think as they please. It's their own loss.
Forcing religion and such onto people is not the way to make it right.

No, its both...Youre thinking of fundamentalists

I don't really believe in evolution as people see it. But that's my personal standing irrelevant to teachings.

then they dont know what an atheist is

You have about as much smarts believing in my Tyranosaurs and Unicorns as you would with that rouge angel BS.
They wrote that book when humans ate poisonous mushrooms and roots as part of their staple diets.
Seriously.....Science will save you from being such an epic moron.

Science is useful but not absolute (lots of theories, basically a step above an educated guess but still a "maybe"), same the other way (religious texts) with taking everything for their literal meanings. Actually many "religious" people go AGAINST their teaching to make total jackasses of themselves. Science has lead to many great things, but bad too (atomic bomb, biological warfare, etc), same with religion (crusades, "holy wars"). But these are all in the way people use and interpret them. It's kinda ironic to go around killing for something "holy" when it is written "Thou shalt not kill". That's sad yet HILARIOUS at the same time. XD

And scientists do stupid stuff (miles long atom collider, really guys, that's STUPID! And their using OUR money to make it, STUPID! We can't use THAT!)

In all honesty I can find faults in both sides of the spectrum here. On one side I find the overly-religious damn annoying and I find the arrogantly "intelligent" to be ALSO annoying. Thus I seek a middle ground on my own self. I rely on both belief and science, which are not as different as one may think.

Edit: I remember this funny thing about some guy on YouTube saying dolphins were an example of evolution and them having a big brain and being all smart and stuff and I go "Then why do they keep getting stuck in nets and other things? Humans as stupid as they are don't do it that much. Unless Dolphins have their own show of Jackass." XD He didn't reply.

Edit 2: Though I am not sure how all this came from "medieval america". :\ Let alone why the question was asked. :/

I just thought that since europe had an age like that, 'america' would have the same.

Obviously, i hadn't actually thought about the mere stupidity of the question.
