I was born in 1981.  My first albums were the super cheesy MC HAMMER and VANILLA ICE debut LPs.When i was 12 years old I remember listening to snoop dog "gin and juice" as that **** came out. I was alive and consuming alchohol and touching my first tits by the time cypress hill was mainstream.  I was over it by the time 2pac, and BIG were getting exposure. I remember hearing notorious BIG when it was still "Underground". Rap is more then 15 years old you ingorant little weasle.
I believe it hit the mainstream in about 1980 and was surviving as an underground folkish urban sound in the late seventies.

I turn 28 in about a month. Ive been around. Ive seen rap when it was new, and still good. Little bitches like you killed it, along with metal and any hope dance and electronic music had. Im just glad you fags havent found a way to kill folk, classical and....aw **** it. You douches killed that too.

Nowadays, music listeners with any taste tend to avoid the radio mtv liljeezykillah ****, and search out some **** that will actually maintain a level of intellegence in a conversation with another educated music listener

I'm gonna defend classic rock here. Classic rock is way better than some of the **** they play nowadays. And I'm gonna go with everyone else here and say Old rap beats new rap, and I know alot of people who listen to rap who are 13 years older than me, because of where i work, and they don't act gangster. Old rap actually stood for something, excpet Vanilla Ice he wasn't the greatest. But when gangs got more into it is when it was horrible. Now you got G-Unit, Murder Inc, and lot of other music gangs out there just talking **** on each other.I believe Biggie and Tupac were the last good artists of their time, aside from a few nowadays, for example I like Eminem his raps are about his life yes, some are stupid yes, but damn some songs actually have more to them then just Big asses and rims
