Actually. Nintendo is alot about playing with your friends. That's why I like nintendo. They think about the player(s).
Most games released on wii allows multiplay. The only games (I can think of) released by the other two big companies are fps and racing games.
Nintendo is what makes a party awesome as 30 smash-drunk people tries to play mario kart with the wii controller. Or playing mario party and the player can barely see straight.
It might have been made for kids. And that's good. Because anything harder would be impossible in such a drunk crowd.

Metal Gear was an MSX game. It got ported to NES, but it was always an MSX game, and the MSX2 got the ACTUALLY GOOD sequel. Snake's Revenge was utter shite.

I agree, there are good games for the nintendo Wii, but they are too few. They would need to more than double the amount of good games before i would buy a Wii. And i don't like the Wiimote, it's not comfortable at all. :S

Though, i do own a Nintendo DS(phat one, but i'm going to upgrade to DSi) and there we have pure win. It's just that the games costs too much, but i've solved that^^

If you've "solved that" do NOT get a DSi. Lack of Slot2 cuts off GBA roms and lots of awesome homebrew.

It's true. DSi is ****. It's basically a DS with no GBA with added crap that comes on most cell phones. That and you can buy games for it with points like the Wii. But if you have an R4, you can already download games, for free. *wink wink*
