It's not excessive, there is a story, but depending on the weapon you use, alters how much gore there will be. Swords = Blood. Fists = Blood, but Gun = No Blood :D .

Now as I said, 8 hours ago or whenever. Screenshots!

Yeah of course, what I was meant to say is that the Blood in Battle Animation for Guns is not implemented yet.

This seems highly stupid, honestly. What reason could these people have to go around shooting random animals? I could understand if they were maybe, poachers or something, but from what you've said they pretty much just shoot pokemon for the hell of it.
