The Carrion Wasteland

This game is a zombie-survival based RPG with dark themes. It is not intended for children, and should only be played
by young adults. (I'd say 18 or older, but I'm 17 and I've been working on mature stuff since I was 14 lol).

Taking place in the late 1970s, the world has been ravaged by the living dead. At this point in time, it really is unknown
what happened during the initial outbreak, and few live to tell tales of the event. Settlements have sprung up out of
nothing, and people are holding on to life. The shuffling undead stalk night and day, and are rarely more than a wall
or two away. Luckily, the creatures themselves have very little brain capacity, and there have been little to no
incidents reported as of late.

Characters

(Image soon)
- Character Named by Player -
The Player Character is a young, wise man hardened by wasteland life.

- The Living Dead -
Although there are many theories on how they came into existence, the real reason has been lost to
time. It is suggested that the dead of the Second World War began to rise just months after the war
had been put to an end, but the reliability of the story isn't credible. They stalk the lands, desperately
seeking the flesh of the living, which satisfies there painful hunger for a short while, if not only a
moment. There all differ - slow ones, fast ones, smart ones and stupid ones, but they all strive for one
thing - to be full.

(No Image)
- Genetech -
Not exactly a character, but a massive company which did everything, from automobiles to politics.
They were the nation's forerunner in technology, supplying the United States Military up until the
outbreak. The status of the company is unknown, but compared to the casualty rate during the
outbreak, it is believed that most employees are deceased. Genetech and it's technology as
well as it's remains will play a pivotal part in the storyline.

- United States Disaster Relief -
The United States Disaster Relief, or USDR, were a government funded organization through NATO and the United Nations.
Originally focused on aiding foreign countries in the aftermath of disasters of minor combat situations, the USDR was called
to the homefront as the zombies started to rise. Poorly equipped, and understaffed as well, the USDR didn't aid the situation
to it's full capability. Today, USDR remnants are spread thinly around the wastes.

- Specialized Combat Force -
More commonly known as the SCF, they were dispatched after the US government realized that the USDR were not sufficient
to help in the situation. The SCF was created using Navy Seals and recognized, veteran Infantry and sending them to highly
dangerous areas. This was cause for great outrage, and even more so when the SCF experienced heavy losses in their original
mission. Very few SCF exist today, and the few survivors are assumed to be in hiding, angry at their government.

Locations

Ironfield
Once a busy, industrial township, Ironfield has grown quiet and is slowly rusting out of existence. Built to house much of
the United States' resource production during the Second World War, the town contains scars of environmental abuse.
The town, since the outbreak, has fallen into disarray and many buildings stand derelict. Many threaten to tumble over
at a moment's notice.

GAME FEATURES
- Moving objects to create barricades to keep zombies away from you.
- Characters can receive bleeding wounds, which kill them over time.
- The player can change their appearance at will.

(Sorry for double post)

If there's been a ton since I've been gone, sorry. I wasn't really able to see what has happened in the community for
the past year or two.

Thanks, I hope so too. I'm thinking about making a purchasable item which you simply use to create a save point, and it stays on the map for you to use at any time. It will help with base creation.
