Yeah, I have a laptop that looks like that. The broken screen part, at least. Not sure where the lappy is these days, but I'm sure it still has a borked display.

I just threw out my old screen-broken-laptop. Was my first laptop, and I kept it in a box for like, 4 years. For A while, I also Had it plugged into an old CRT monitor.

The whole thing is sucky, and I truly feel for you, friend.

Eventually though, youll end up with a better laptop as a result. These things have a way of working themselves out in time.
