Any music with (good) vocals hinders my concentration, because I usually end up too absorbed in listening closely to every line, and analyzing the meaning of the lyrics.

This is why I have a large collection of awesome instrumental music to listen to while doing other things.

An Endless Sporadic, Tetrafusion, Canvas Solaris, Piglet, Pelican, assorted instrumental Mastodon tracks, Marc A. Pullen (usually not anything older than 2006), Behold... The Arctopus, Indricothere, Blotted Science, Liquid Tension Experiment, Scale the Summit... There's probably more, but I can't think of any off the top of my head, and I have to go.

But yeah. Win music is win.
