Drace has been a massive weenie since he "came back". All he has provided is unnecessary arguing and 4chan memes.
Dom has been bored of Charas since forever and was probably looking for an excuse to leave.

We're all grown up and stuff and realizes that we better keep our projects to ourself since we know it's a great chance it won't be completed.
I've posted like one game when I first joined. I've had countless of projects since those years back but none of them were completed.

I think people join and quit in the aformentioned manner because they realize that we arent going to make them 32 bchar sets. I dont think Sai calling people morons is driving anyone away. I called people worse when I was an admin, and it had little effect.

If this was a forum that didnt give a crap what any of the users had to say, or one that LEGITIMATELY thought you were all morons, this thread would have been locked a few pages back. This "YOU CANT BAN PEOPLE LIKE THAT DRAMA" is stupid. They intentionally broke the rules, over and over and over, and tried to "attack" the site (if you can even call it that). They were banned for all of the reasons that people get banned from web forums.

First - I don't speak in caps. I used to back when Raffles first came, realised it was stupid, and then dropped it. Don't 'quote' me or my reasons for all-caps and in such simplistic manner, please.

Second - The horse was alive and well when I left. It was a nice pony and I liked it.

Third - The other 'internet forums' you mentioned are actually just hellholes created by the admins to glorify their ego. There are, however, lots of great forums out there, most of which with admins that, I'm sorry to say, are more professional, and overall better, than the ones we have or had here. I'm not saying our admins are bad, they just aren't God-on-a-stick.

Fourth - ...you were an admin? I must've missed the memo.

Youll notice i didnt use a quote box, because i wasn't quoting you, Grandy. I dont particularly disagree with any of the points youve made, and for me to reiterate anything Ive said would be lame.  Im sorry if I pissed you off dude. I have no desire to alienate you. Youre a pretty cool guy.

Sure, some of them are hugboxes for admins. But some are actually functional, and the stricter forums that i frequent seem to serve much more of a purpose then the ego BJ you mentioned. Some of the stricter forums out there have admins and mods that simply do their jobs, and dont post, and lock/ban etc, because rules were broken.  You cant generalise every forum that enforces its rules without debate as being an ego stroke for admins....grey area....blah blah

Yep. We didnt send out memos. Ive also been a local and Gmod. Im selling charas staff baseball cards. They have bubblegum in them. The gum is not good.

I think some more practical smileys could be usefull. Or perhaps something more charas themed. Ive been toying with the idea of a new smiley contest for some time, but adding one or two new ones seems silly. We have some REALLY crappy smileys right now, some with out of sceme anti-aliasing, some with no use, etc. Perhaps more then ONE winning smiley would be prudent. Thoughts?
