This is mighty strange.
It appears the scratch fucked everything up.

Just as planned. We're looking at the grand/parents/brother this time round. Hopefully this will explain how they knew all the **** they knew in the prescratch session.

Okay, this **** is getting too bloated and going to such high levels of nowhere that even I am starting to feel like I'm watching Lost all over again.

If people are bitching about things going nowhere and being too complicated and bloated I don't know how any of you got into Homestuck in the first place.

Yeah, and I didn't terribly like that. I feel that Homestuck's golden age was before the troll arc began.

Indeed. I didn't even like the trolls for a good amount of time. They grew on me, but man, this is getting too deep.

I'm fairly sure this is mostly a reboot of sorts, though, so I don't think we can complain about the bloat right now.

It was bloated and going nowhere in the perfect ammount.

In other news, without any provocation on my behalf, one of my IRL good friends has started reading Homestuck as of a week or so ago.

He's up to Act 5.1 now and to my surprise, he's enjoyed everything up to and including now. Someone enjoying everything in Homestuck? What a concept!

So after a long time of playing Skyrim and not reading MSPA, my friend just finished Act 5.1. After being told that a lot of people didn't like it due to the lack of kids, he responds "Lol I liked the trolls story"

He also hates Vriska, so that's cool too

Speaking of, is anyone able to get into the current storyline? I can't find myself willing to get interested in yet another group of new characters, especially since these are some sort of parallel universe ones and I can't imagine the main cast never coming back ever again.

The main cast are definetly coming back. The cascade flash pretty much set everything up for that. And I'm really liking the new characters, actually. They all seem pretty interesting and the whole thing reminds me of Act 1 (naturally) which is great.

It's kind of meh right now. I think I'd like the new kids more if I hadn't known the old kids and the trolls and Jack (and friends) and the whole White/Black kingdom. Basically, too much to keep up with, and despite things looking like I should ignore all that before stuff, I can't. That, and these are basically the same kids, but something is wrong. Like store-brand Oreos or something.

Also, I <33333333 Vriska.
