Ok now I'm up to date.

Sweet jeez it's awesome.  I'm not quite as interested in the alpha kid's problems as I am the other's, though...  So the last lot hasn't been quite as great.

EDIT: Looking back and noticing that Sai bitches about the new kids quite a lot, I feel I should explain that I like them less, but I still like them.  It's just that the trolls and the original kids are the ones who already know each other and I'm kinda emotionally invested in them more.

Particularly Rose and Kanaya.  I'm understating this a lot so I'll repeat. Particularly Rose and Kanaya.

I read back through most of this topic and it makes me sad that I wasn't experiencing it when y'all were talking about it and more people were still reading... But honestly I think I got the best deal. Reading so much in one go was so good... Basically the equivalent of reading a book instead of reading a paragraph a day.

Weirdly, I didn't really see any of you talk about who your favourite characters were, apart from some vague mentions of Dave early on.  Who is your favourite character?  Mine was Terezi for a while, and now I'm not really sure.

That's what I usually do with webcomics like dr mcninja and such, beats reading a new one every month or so.

My first ever update! Yay!

Do they usually come lots at once nowadays? Because that's really cool.

They're pretty varied. Some days, there's one at a time for a few days in a row (used to be daily), sometimes there are large chunks all at once. Sometimes, there are several updates a day at different parts of the day. Sometimes, there's one awesome update that comes before (and typically leads into another) long pause. I miss the days when updates were reliably a daily thing, but given how impressive the format manipulations get, I can forgive the delays. Plus, the story is like goddamn crack.

At the moment, given the nature of this 2x combo thing he's got going on, you'll be expecting a bunch of pages several days apart.

And also, how about that update? I don't think anyone saw THAT coming. (The whole Jack thing)

I admit I did not. Then again, I'm not used to theorising about what's gonna happen next. I'm used to it just happening within the next minute or two : p

He seems to be throwing up a ton of different leads to keep people guessing about lord English. I kinda thought it was a shame that Caliborn hadn't been beefing up on his planet as he unlocked the screens, because for a while back there we didn't see his whole body, just his face, and that would have been a cool reveal.

The fact that the entire comic does this constantly is a big part of why I stopped reading.
I think it got old.

Nah, the majority of the previous stuff was shenanigans and shitty twists. Now it's full-blown brain-****, and I'm loving it.
