Wouldn't his foot be more likely to snap back and knock him over from the recoil? I dunno if that constitutes as "boomerang" either. Does it?

That's not how boomerangs work.

I laughed at the idea of the dhalshim foot, but you could reword it a bit funnier :P

But the edges aren't linked.

And the boomerang still wouldn't work that way.

I like how rather than give construcive criticism or any kind of real critique everyone just acts like a pompous douchebag. Fantastic guys, keep up the good work and maybe one day you might wake up and not hate yourselves and the world  :hi:

Well... It is odd he has only made 3 posts, all being in Rock's comic threads.

Constructive criticism eh? The dialogue bores me, make it less robotic, less cussing for the sake of cussing. Honestly, I have a hard time figuring out the plot in it. And a Chrono Trigger/Metal Slug crossover... Erm... Must I?

Oh and that Archem looks like a paperbag

After looking on all of JaggedDragon's posts, I am 50% sure that he is a double account made by Rock. IP check, anyone?
Yes, agreed. Also, his strong passive aggression makes him all that more suspicious.

Yeah I would have given it even money too, but no dice. They don't match.

Anyway, at least some of the comics were funny (I don't care what these fools say; that Archem comic was freakin' hilarious) but the true comic value of this thread is watching a bunch of trolls try to find new and desperate ways to keep trolling. If we had any sort of active mod in this forum Archem and co would have been given at least a couple warnings by now to shut the hell up if they don't have anything constructive to say. I'm too lazy to play full babysitter, but consider the warning said guys. Don't like the comics that much? Don't read them and stop making fun. Period. If I come back to this thread in a couple of days and you guys are still ripping on him I won't be very pleased, which is probably implying a day or two temp ban.

Hmm? I didn't really see any of the objections as being very heavy-handed. Perhaps I should review the posts, but to me, it didn't seem like anyone was being overly-aggressive.

Perhaps a bit blunt, but not terribly trollish. Anyway, I suddenly have work to do.

EDIT: Aaaand I still don't see much that could be considered "abuse". Perhaps the sarcasm wasn't laid on thick enough, and hostile undertones leaked through. Although, I'm starting to see that I'm being viewed as an aggressor, despite being relatively benign for once. Pretty weird, I think.

EDIT SOME MORE: Hey guys, boss says I gotta keep you in line. Henceforth, I'll be editing any posts that can be seen as undesirable. No more conversation unless it relates to these comics and how to make them better. I'll start.

*Ahem*

Story looks like it's going downhill from here. Adding Chrono Trigger to Metal Slug seems very unlikely to work, and is terribly inconsistent. The humor seems to be a bit dull, and a few too many jokes are terribly over-used, often to the point where they may have been funny once, but are not anymore.

Ok, someone else's turn.

Well, I get a bit thrown off by the random cussing. Quite a few of the jokes seems forced, like Marle shooting Crono, there was no lead-in for that to be a pun, if it were expanded, perhaps that Chrono had something on his head or in his hand and Marle missed, then a reaction shot from the villains would have given a bit more impact on the joke there. The Archem comic was funny to me and didn't seem like it was really OOC, which made it funny.

Also, I figured out what it is called (I think) with Dhalsim hitting himself in the back of the head with his own foot, isn't that called a "comical loop"? Also, and not to sound like I'm bashing, but the CT joke also didn't get a lead-in, it just kinda happened out of the blue. I like random and all but what is the CT and MS connection? All-in-all the humor can use an upgrade, I gave a few suggestions in there.

Edit: Just stay clear of making it several action scenes. I'm kinda thinking the more interaction scenes the better and not making it a constant battle. Seriousness makes it feel more like a fanfic than a comic, you know? Not so much a hate from me, but I legitimately get confused on things, or thrown off by the earlier long streams of action scenes. I'm actually glad your putting in more interaction scenes.

I laughed at the last comic, but I agree with Lucas that it would have been funnier if you had left out the "like a boomerang..." text.
