Cool idea. It does sound like I have heard something like this before, but with so many games being made there is very little originality. I like the idea of some people wanting to destroy "Creed" while others want to protect it. It seems like you could have a lot of fun with a concept like that.

What other kinds of comments are you looking for?

The idea of Grey Magic is really cool. Very original. I can't wait until this game is done (or at least a demo).

it seems cool, but a word of caution: i would drop the whole FF reference. i am not trying to be rude at all, but from what i see the only thing your game has in common with FF is the white and black magic thing. also, there are some who would not even glance at your game because it has the words "Final Fantasy" in its description. gray magic seems cool too. its sort of a bittersweet victory, eh?
btw, i played EQ for a few years, where are nekoes? i never saw any...

True, the FF part can be dropped. I've decided to put more comedy and romance in it then the usual RPG. I don't know how to program and such but i hope to learn...And i'm a quick learner, so i hope to get the demo out as soon as possible. The Gray magic actualy comes from a magick i practice. Its white magick that turns into black magick. It's like a spell that always has a cost to it. Kinda like you have to pay for Ujimbo (Aeon in FF10).

And, what's wrong with FF? If i we're to add "Final Fantasy" in the title, and fix around the spells and stuff, it would be like a final fantasy. Minor fixing btw.

Alchemy was also taken from Square Enix things. Full Metal Alchemist, FF10. I still wanted to put alchemy because it seamt right for the character that has it. All Brains, no brawn. She kinda leaves thought

Something that would bother some players in this game is that Tara (Black mage) doesn't stay forever, the cause of this is that she is too powerful against creatures that are effected by magic. But, don't worry. Because most of the time you'll be fighting clan type creatures.

Clan Types:

Synjies (Werewolves) The only difference between both is that Synjies were human, then when they became werewolves, they can't turn back.

Fiolox (Kitsune) Difference is... Fiolox we're created off of many DNAs. Kitsune, i think, we're just born through human and fox. Does anyone read or watch Ranma 1/2? One episode they explain that some humans (martial artists) intergrated with animals (yeh i know. It's wrong.) and they're sons and such we're human but with the powers of that animal. I think Kisunes we're the same, only they have fur, ears and tail.

Puura (Neko) Puura we're created the same way Fiolox we're. Instead they are cat people. Also, Puura, can jump 15 times it's weight, because of the cat DNA and human strength. They also are stronger and faster. It doesn't mean Fiolox aren't as powerful. Fiolox might be less fast, but stronger. Synjies have more instinct and are faster. Puura is basicly a balance, only cuter ^^

Nano-Beings (Created Humans) Nano-Beings are humans created the same way Puura's and Fiolox we're. Through out the adventure, they discover that Trenet looks like Rayiss (The last Creed) and they try to figure out if Trenet is a Nano Being or a real Human. Blaine is a nano being. They can do everything humans do, even intergrate, only chances of a baby is 1/7.
Also, some scientists on the side of Faith make several copies of Rayiss.

Elf: Discovered mysteriously underground in the year 3790 They evolved from disformed humans. They are skinny, spiky ears and are usualy taller then the average human. They are masters at alchemy and mechanics built off of scratch. Lyne was very interested in them, that's why she practices Alchemy.

Half Elf: Simple, a mix of Human and Elf. They made one Half elf as a Nano Being, 110 years later. They wanted to see what it gave. So many half elves are Nano Being Half Elves.

Rayiss History:

He was abandoned right away when they found out he resembled the last "Creed",  by his parents from the Dogma side.
He then worked as a slave for several years till he was 16. At 16 he ran away and found a poor village filled with people of the Faith. He was holy to them. He learned white magic extremely quickly and healed the sick. Some people in the village, however, we're on the Dogma side. One family especialy, the Inka family. They told other people from the Dogma side, many people. Soon, the village was raided, most of the people died. But with effort, Rayiss died a brave death. A stab in the heart from defending his loved one, Par.

Katlyn and Trenet, of course are the two who will eventualy end up being togheter. Trenet being "Creed", and the twist, Katlyn's full name. Haven't figured it out? Read Rayiss history.

I've never been good working with a partner, but someone who can tutor me and show me how to program and graphicaly create the game. Then i need Paint shop, and i've heard it costs like...400 american $...(I'm canadian btw)

Who has played Lunar SSS or any other Lunar game? Lunar is a great example of an RPG. It's going to be like that. Except that i probably won't have any anime specials with the songs and such. I also want to make my RPG unique, i don't know what to do though. Any ideas?

Mirroring FF10? Not at all. Maybe a bit, but not at all.

1. It doesn't not mirror FF10 all that much?
2. I won't change the game  because of the preference of one person. Maybe if it's a good idea.
3. It will be mixed of many things. FF10 is included for a small small fraction.
5.There are no elves, half elves, NanoBeings, Nekos, Kitsunes, or werewolves, in FF10.

The only things copying Square Enix would be Black and white magic, but thats extremely common. Alchemy, not so common, but it did somehow make sense in my story. And the O'aka in my story is Paory, except that Paory has a different story. He doesn't travel WITH you, but he travels the same path as you. The reason: He wants to sell more.
He doesn't come from a line of Merchants. He's a merchant because he's good in making things.

He appears a bit later on in the game. Not near the middle though. I hope the game will be long. A good 20+ hours of play, not one boring part, many missions...Back to Paory. If you buy an item he wants to sell to you that costs a lot, he'll appear repetively on you're journey. If you don't, he will appear only a few times.

I'm very new to this, but i have been writing for a good 2 years.
And, i'm young...Like..Really young. 14- young.
Just to make it worst, im fluented french and have been writing french for six years...Now in my high school it's english.
