Dogma And Faith

This is my first game, so i have no idea what im doing  
I have, so far, the main characters, many many sprites and the storyline. It will resemble Final Fantasy, a mix of magic and machine. Or it's also a mix of Everquest, FF10 and MSN Groups Roleplaying. There will be Kitsunes and Nekos.

Here are the main characters:
Trenet
Katlyn
Jez
Blaine
Base

There are some other characters who appear frequently in the game. Like in FF10, there is also a merchant who appears frequently. His name is Paory.

The Storyline is a "World Against You" type  
It's not like that the whole game, it's more like "Half" of the world.

Storyline:

It's the year 3998, 2 years before the new millenium. There are less machines because there is less resources. New races have been discovered, some allies, some enemies. They said that in the year 3000 there was going to be an apocolypse, and there was one. 3/4 of the worlds Machines have been destroyed, the cause was because of one person. They say this person has lived many lives and always comes back in a reancarnation. They call that person "Creed". Some say that it was a lesson from God, some others say it was a sending from the devil. Dogma, are the people who believe that "Creed" should be killed. Faith, are the people who believe in "Creed" and think he should be protected. There are many people who convert to the Dogma side. So, in hope, Faith will just have to pray for the best.

Suspeciously familiar? Yeh well...Many games have a lot of people against you. At some point in FF10 a lot of people hate you. I loved that part ^^

It seems familiar because it sounded a bit like my game when I read how the years went by so fast and there being found other species.

Ooh. Well Many games also have new races anyways -.- I havent seen one RPG without any new races. Except for Lunar...o.o

Not the games I have played... most of the games I've seen have common old human heroes and all that

Ohh...Well i did Mention it would be a mix of certain things. Nekos and kitsunes are in MSN Groups, Nekos are also in EQ...I'm going to invent the third new race thought.

I got my Kitsunes from mythology... then I made my own adjustments. Instead of being "Animal" they are "Super Sub Human", which is apparently an original idea.

I also made a lot of sprites, i didn't include them with they're weapons though. This will do:



Trenet will become a Demon or An Angel at the end, depending on some choices you made in the game.

GREAT MOVIE! Lol yeah i saw it like two years ago. Forgot what it was about though. I remember god being a woman and an angel having no wings and therefor becoming immortal o.o

Unique power and weapon for every character you will control:

Trenet: Summoning Creatures/Scythe
Katlyn: White Magic/Spear
Jez: Stats Upgrade Abilities and Spells/Hand Knives
Blaine: Gray Magic/Sacred Magic Flag
Base: High Strength, HP, Dex and Charisma/Large Sword
Lyne: Alchemy/----
Kai: AE (Area Effect) Abilities and Spells/Axe
Tara: Black Magic/Staff

1 use only:

Skull: The 6th Sense/Guns
Trenet Angel: Cleric improved magic/Celestial Touch
Trenet Demon: Necromancer improved magic/Hellbound Grab

Gray Magic is a mix of white and black magic. When he casts a spell of white magic, black magic damage will be inflicted on him. When he casts a spell of black magic, white magic will be inflicted on the enemie.

Alchemy is using items to make a spell.

The 6th Sense is Creation. Skull can copy any spell he has seen, it will only cost more mana.

Cleric is like a Healer
Necromancer is like a Black Mage
