VX Doors Help
« on: September 02, 2010, 03:36:12 AM »
Alright. I've got VX, and I'm trying to make a door that is two tiles tall. When I try to use the "Quick Event," no matter what I try it comes out as one tile. I then try to edit it, nothing. I delete it, start from scratch, and can't figure it.

Sooo... help?

Is your image two tiles tall?

You may have to do it manually.  Let me see if I have VX on this computer.

EDIT: Darn it.  Its at the computer at home.  (I'm at college).

If your image is two tiles and the quick event isn't letting you do two tiles, you may just have to make the event yourself.  Just create the quick event door first and change the image to the door you want.  Try that.

Also, if you can post the graphic you are using.  Or post a screenshot of the problem.

Well, I'm a n00b, so I'm just using the basic door images, that come with the program.

When I select the image, it's definitely two tiles tall, and the top one just gets cut off. Is there any way to select two map tiles at once, when making the event?

No.  Did you try going back and selecting the image?  And can you post some shots of what you are trying to do?  Like I said, I don't have the program on this computer, so I don't have access to the graphics.
