Custom Message System

There are 2 ways to do this;
Either ripping from a screenshot or using MyWin.
Ripping:
Make sure the screenshot is NOT a JPG or it may look screwed up.
Copy and paste the needed into a different image (just in case).
The image should then be edited and saved as a 256-colour image. DO NOT PICK BITMAP IN PAINT OR IT WILL LOOK SCREWED UP ALSO. Next, put it in your project's Picture folder and look for the right spot to display it on-screen, then show a message at about the same spot. If it's nicely done like a default system message, you've succeeded.
Using MyWin:
1.Choose your system skin and stretch the message template onto the wanted size, then save it. If the on-screen picture is displayed at the appropriate spot, it's perfect.
2.Choose your system skin and type the wanted message on it. This does not require a Show Message command in RPG Maker and you can centrate it to your wish. You can also do a load of other things with MyWin; you can create
pictures
with the ExFont and make
pictures
for the credits in your game. There are a lot of other things than those you can do with your system skins.
The End
One simple question: Did this help?
MyWin: Dev Empire seems closed, so I think best resort now would be Google.
