And I don't remember this either.
Maybe, unlike Lucas, you just had a Charas Nightmare?

Maybe. I *thought* it was weird when Bruce Lee started giving me crap too.

It's okay, Sai, I still like you, even if you are a bit of a touch hole.

Also, I'm still making AoA, and zuhane is still making Quasimodogeneticaltestical Island. Its just time consuming and will never happen. So calm down.

I'm not talking anything Charas themed with Sai and dren going at it or anything. Just  a virtual world where you explore dungeons and **** with a charas generated avatar and you need a charas account to play.

it could even be limited custimization at first instead of uploading every single piece.

It's a good idea, but to be honest I doubt anyone here would have the know-how to make it work. We have a couple of guys working with RPG Maker and GM, neither of which would really do this idea justice. A lot of us don't even work on games any more, or aren't in a position to commit to what would be such a big project.

It's not that any of us are unnaturally lazy, [Archem joke removed], it's just that we lack either the expertise or the free time for big projects.

I would play this game. And I would beat dren, too.

Believe it or not, I am actually working on Kyoob.
Despite the lack of a thread and the fact that nobody's heard about it in a while, it IS making fantastic progress.

Well what if it starts out small? Just the hub town and chat feature to start. this is more of a social forum and less of a gaming forum anyway. THEN we add in dungeons and such.

I will say the same about AoA. I have made a lot of progress in that.

Also, I'm excited about kyoob.

I'll do some research on hard it is to do multiplayer in Game Maker later.
However, I can't make any promises, especially considering that since GM Studio isn't out yet, I can't export games to HTML 5, which means that you'll have to download the game.

Research indicates that I could theoretically program it in Python (I have modules for networking and games already, I just suck at Python), and then use Jython (A Java implementation of Python) to compile a java applet, which could be embedded in a page, but I don't know how well that'd work, especially considering that I am not very good at programming.

Also, I must stress that even if this is more possible than I thought it was, we'd still have to do everything from the ground up, which will be very, very hard.
Knowing my work ethic, I probably won't be able to do much in this at first, unless we can find some open source work that I can build up from.

there are other game makers out there besides the ones covered on this site. honestly why is this place even still up if no one on it partakes in the very thing that it was based on. what if a star wars fan site's members stopped liking star wars?

in 5 min of googling i found tons of legit ways to get this project up, but you all would rather struggle with the programs you don't have any ability to use.

Because we care about more than one thing?
