3rd time's the charm?

Well, now my laptop is absolutely dead. The charging cable is completely busted, and the battery is so low that the computer won't even attempt to come on.
And for the coup de grace, the wireless card that I have also does not work anymore (or so we presume), so until we get another of those, I'm computerless.
However, I can still post via PS3, so, there is that. I'll just be sparse.
This also means no Kyoob until I get my hands on either a new cable+battery, or a new wireless card.
Or better yet, a gaming PC.

It shouldn't be that hard to get a laptop power cord. I've had several laptops over the years now and all the cords were compatable between them even though they were different models. I know they sell them - I was thinking I needed to buy a new one when I had one die on me before I canabalized one from my previous laptop. As for the wireless card, I had one a few years ago that slid into an external slot since my first laptop didn't have an internal card. It was a bit weak on signal strength, but it worked. Both these problems should be able to be solved by a quick trip to the closest computer accessories store.

Still, a good gaming computer is a solid investment for the dedicated computer nerd.
