Make the bots go away!!

Can an admin do some special adminny stuff to make them stop? How have this many got in? Can we use captchas or something?
Sorry, I'm computer illiterate (even though I'm doing Computer Science). On a lighter note, at least it's funny how stupid the posts are.

What is your favorite thing about The Bots that have posted?

I like that They post in the wrong sections and have real names as Their forum name.

The staff essentially fired all the admins in a fit of stupid rage. Bug Lucas, the last remaining one, about it.

It was reset to 0, I assume as a "go **** yourself" present when I was unceremoniousness stripped of my admin powers without notification by Alex and/or Moose.

What happened in all honesty. I remember coming back to charas and seeing everything was generic Forum2.0
But, how did you get stripped? I mean, I wasn't here for this terrible drama, now I'm confused.

Drama.
All I have is Lucas's account of events, which is bound to be a slight biased.

Drama. Ben came back, had a falling-out with Mid on a totally unrelated topic, a change of administration was agreed upon by certain parties, Sai seems to be taking it poorly. As I recall, Mid was quite unhappy with it, as well. They seem to have a mutual relationship, anyway, so this comes as no shock. All admins, sans Alex (and Osmose, I think) were bumped down to moderators, and Lucas got the biggest bump seen in recent history (peon to admin). Lucas, shockingly, didn't force us back into PÜB, and went through with the forum updates and whatnot. This hit the fan a little bit, and now it's starting to dry onto the walls and ceiling. It doesn't stink like it used to, but the place certainly doesn't look right.

The bots may be too smart for us.  We have a captcha as well as an easy question that you have to answer in order to create an account, but they still get through. Soon they will murder us all.

Considering I was fired because of a backroom conversation and not even *told* about it until I tried to log on and found my admin powers were gone, yes. Mildly upset.

Sorry guys, I'm sort of really insanely distracted by real life at the moment. Sincere apologies.

Sigh. Look, no offense, but I've had a life for the past decade-ish myself too. People were decisively unsympathetic to any claims that I was busy and felt fully free to tell me what a terrible job I was doing. You made a LOT of promises about 8-directional sprite generators branching out to other games and stuff when you took office in that little coup, so I'd at least try to make some headway on them.
