Sonic Artwork
« on: July 30, 2012, 09:35:16 PM »
Thought I share some images.  ;)
======================

This one is about 2 years old.

This one is obviously a Christmas one.

A picture of Amy Rose.

The hero we all know, Sonic.

You are welcome to critique. I hope you enjoyed looking at these pictures.   ;D

Not that I care for Sonic fanart, but this is pretty good. I can't find anything specifically in-need of criticism.

Where did you learn to do vector art like that? It looks so smooth and perfect!

I use a program called Photoshop. It has a tool called the Pen Tool and helps me create smooth, neat lines.
I basically go over my line art with it when I scan my pictures.

I think it looks weird with his mouth moved but it could just be me.  :-\

It looks weird because it was drawn for a different location. It's slightly better considering the context, but it is weird. The best solution would be re-drawing the mouth for the new location.

Not bad stuff -- very clean-looking -- but you may want to work on hands. Yours are a little off in some drawings, particularly the first Sonic one.

Yep. You nailed one of my weak spots. Hands. Thanks for the reply. :)

This was an attempt at a new coloring style. I really wanted a hamburger at the time and this was the result.

This is Shadow and Sonic singing. Their Japanese voice actors actually sing songs, especially Sonic's voice actor and are pretty good.

This is Shadow if he were from one of the animes I have watched.
