Smash 3ds Leak

I'm sure at least one of you has heard about the recent leaked pics and vids for smash 3ds.  I believed it to be fake at first, but the pic of the day today has convinced me it's legit.  So that being said...  Thoughts?

[spoiler]Bowser Junior being playable.  My man Shulk being playable.  Duck Hunt Dog?  The veteran and newcomer clone Dr. Mario and Dark Pit.  Idk if it's the complete roster that was revealed though.[/spoiler]

Ain't much to say about it until the game is released really. Anything could be fake or a ruse or whatnot, assist trophy skins used on characters by the staff for fun, who knows.
Wait another 2 weeks for the 3ds game to be released in JPN, if you own a 3ds of that type, you can probably do a digital download as well.

I assumed fake as well, but they're being posted on 'official' sites and stuff now and a fake leak on this scale would mean the person has absolutely no life.

It sucks though that there is a jackass that would leak all that information like they did.  Sakurai is probably furious.  Reminds me of last year with the new pokemans.  Good job America!

It just feels a bit futile this close to launch. Why even put your job and family honour on the line to leak information that will be all over the internet in 2 weeks?

Cause they're an idiot lol.  Just like the guy who leaked the X and Y early.  I don't know why they do it, but in the end it will bite them in the *** pretty hard.  The smash leaker was apparently an employee in the treehouse and is now fired and being sued.  If this is in fact true that is, but I'm 95% it is.  The next veteran reveal should ultimately confirm it (unless it's one that wasn't shown).

As it stands now I'm already psyched enough for the game.  The only thing that really had me excited was confirmation of G&W.  The prospect of potential DLC, and the inclusion of Ice Climbers in this manner also pleased me.  I'm skeptical, but the images and videos are mighty convincing.  Definitely was not Brawl modding, and I doubt a fan could whip up something that good so it seems legitimate in some way.

On a side note, I'm happy and upset about Dr. Mario.  I was under the impression that Sakurai said that once a character had been dropped they would not return, which is why I had no faith that Roy or Mewtwo would return.  But out of all the returnees, they decide on Dr. Mario to break this alleged rule.  Mewtwo is drastically different from Lucario, and even has (two) Mega-Evolutions, so he's pratically built for Smash.  If they didn't want that many Pokemon reps, they should have dumped Lucario.  But perhaps this is my bias talking.

Pardon the incoherent ramblings.  I had a piss poor day at work and resolved this with a gratuitous amount of rum and vodka.

I'm indifferent to the leak. A roster list leak for a fighting game is in no way a big deal to me. There's no story for me to have ruined, the characters themselves will likely all be revealed by the end of the first day (either through the internet or through gameplay), and knowing someone I want to see in the game is actually making the cut only heightens my interest in the game. If the leak is fake, no big deal. Fake leaks exist for everything hype-worthy, and some of them are pretty damn convincing. If the leak is real, that's actually somewhat disappointing, since the leaked roster has a lot of people I'd rather not see in the game (Duck Hunt Dog? Really? And more clones are getting full character sports instead of simply being alternate skins?), and the people I actually wanted to see return are nowhere to be found.

So I guess I'm more interested in official reveals than unofficial ones. At least I know they're real.

I always assumed that doctor mario, if he returned would be as an alternative skin for Mario like other characters have fe/-male versions.

I haven't played a smash bros game in aaaages. Maybe I should convince work to buy it since we'll all be bored of mario kart 8 by that point.

I'm a bit disappointed with the inclusion of Dr. Mario and Dark Pit, but even more disappointed at the lack of the Ice Climbers, I really loved using them.

The fact that Nintendo is suing the guy is decent proof that it's legit, but I'd say the fact that the leak videos have been removed from Youtube by Nintendo of America is better proof.

If it weren't for plenty of other guys being sued for what turned out to be fake leaked info, I would also be convinced.

The fact that the leaker has a flawless screenshot of the spectator mode that was revealed today has officially convinced me the legitimacy. 

I think we can all agree smash 4 is going to be amazing.

And xenoblade chronicles will be released for 3ds (which isn't a good idea handhelds have proven incapable at handling open world.)

Also new 3ds (somewhere in the future) called New 3ds. Good job there nintendo.
And Final Fantasy legend which looks like a 3rd person DS crystal chronicles.
Also DLC expectations for Hyrule warriors and Fantasy life in the future with additional game modes and maps and stuff.

Of course, I watched the Japanese Direct so we might have to wait ages or Duke Nukem forevers before they get here.
