Smash 3ds Leak

I'm super excited for the new 3DS. I still haven't bought one, and once the thing gets a release in the US (sometime next year, hopefully early next year), I'm going all in. Two extra shoulder buttons? The glorious return of the C-Stick? Face-tracking for the 3D effect? Better layout for system elements (stylus, power button, start/select)? Hell yes.

And xenoblade chronicles will be released for 3ds (which isn't a good idea handhelds have proven incapable at handling open world.)

The new 3DS has a stronger CPU, so that may not be an issue. Worth noting, Xenoblade will only be available for the new 3DS. It will not play on the existing 3DS.

Ladies and gentlemen, start selling off your existing 3DSes to make money for the new one.

I can probbably get at least 120+ for my current XL.  The only thing I'm not gonna look forward to is the  system transfer since I have a 16gb sd card that may hold too much content for a direct transfer. It'll probably be easier to save it all to my laptop, transfer the data, and then hopefully slap the data back on the card.

Yeah I kinda missed that part since I don't know Japanese. Thought they just wanted to show it off or something.

I hope that you can still use the normal 3ds with the controller pro upgrade for those new games though. That one is probably way more comfortable than the new 3ds as well.

I'm sure there will be some kind of indication about which games are "enhanced by" and which games are "only for" the new 3DS. That said, I won't be surprised if developers jump ship regarding the old 3DS in favor of the benefits of the new model.

Well, let's see what they can come up with then.
Will most likely not get xenoblade for the 3ds anyway, spent like 240 hours on it on the wii version. So unless there's some sick added content then I probably feel pretty content with what I've done.

They added some information about pokemons and assisst trophies on the official site btw. I kinda wish they would add more old gen pokemon and not just latest gen. I donno but I kinda feel that smash is supposed to be pretty retro in some aspects.

It's good they're porting Xenoblade to 3ds. It's not for us, the ones who played it before it became scarce, it's for the ppl who didn't get the chance to play it. Plus now they have the smash promotion with Shulk in so now players will wanna try it out and this gives them an option. 

But wait! There's a spiritual sequel coming shortly after!? I enjoyed XBC, so now ill try out the gorgeous Wii U game.  You see what they did there?

Also something else you may not have thought of... Ppl complained about the graphics and now that it's on a weaker portable system, that flaw will be overlooked by the graphic whores. I really hope xenoblade can become Nintendo's 'Final Fantasy', except dont keep making half-assed, lazy crap! (Looking at you sidequests for FF crisis core, last half of Bravely Default etc)

But with what Prpl said, I'll only get it if there's added stuff OR a reasonable bundle option. I will be getting the new system either way. Maybe Kid Icarus Uprising will be more lefty friendly...

I fear that the graphics will be overlooked because of the terrible framedrop. At least it was there in the videos they showed of the battles. And that would kinda kill it.

So there's only 8 days left until everything about the game will be revealed to us from our Japanese brothers. I'm surprised that Nintendo still haven't gone out with more characters than Shulk lately though. They even revealed all of them for brawl, although half of them were put in spoiler boxes.

Also, almost time for Hyrule Warriors and Bayonetta 2. I totally missed that Tales of Xillia 2 was released, although it might feel a bit wonky to play after tales of Grace. And Xbox One was finally had it's launch here in Sweden.  Lotsa things happening.

Forgot to mention that valve just finally released Techies for dota2, which will probably overload youtube with fail videos shortly. Also, Diablo 3 had a new patch last week with the inclusion of greater rifts and seasons.

I'll have to jump back into Diablo 3 sometime and give them a shot. I just wish they'd enable trading for uniques and set pieces.

I might pick up the New 3DS and Smash Bros in October, since I have two 14 hour flights in one week.

Now that the roster leaks are confirmed, my disappointment is in full bloom.

We knew the full roster the entire time lol.  All i wanted most was Shulk and Ike's return so I'm satisfied.  Lots of people are complaining about the 3 new clones, but they were made into clones because Sakurai decided to upgrade them from just being costumes. 

However, I was hoping for a new Zelda rep or even a Ganondorf moveset update, but what can you do?  Plus some final smashes that should've been changed have not been so boo to that too.  The fact that there's 2 new Mario reps though bugs me.  Like c'mon.  And they bring Jiggles back and not mewtwo.  Plus they cut Lucas and Wolf, who weren't really clones. 

I'm also curious to what happened to the Golden Sun representation cause I've heard there isn't any thus far.  That series was a large part of the gba having sold over 2 million copies.  Who knows, maybe there's possible DLC, I don't know. 

I wasn't expecting Ridley to become playable nor Dixie Kong.  She's not unique enough imo.  And the chorus men?  Nobody really knew what that series was.  I was hoping some sort of new zelda rep other than Impa though.  The series of clones along with star fox. 

Don't get me wrong, the roster is great, just there's been some poor choices by the developers.  Oh and jigglypuff stiill with her stupid *** final smash and no moonblast!?  really!? cmon sakurai...
