Well never thought we'd have  to adress this but it do seem we're losing to these trolls and bots. somebody even blasted one of my old spriting threads that had spam in it. < <; Why am I feeling the power of the Dark Side rise with every victory? What is to be  done about these irritating bots?? Are just going to keep ignoring them? Or is somebody gonna blast their IP addresses and end this war before it starts again?...Or am I just being my usual over dramatic and paranoid self? I mean does ignoring them work in the long run?

There are no trolls, only bots. And most of them fail to get past the captcha. Some do, in some strange way. And once that happens we remove the posts and ban the bot. Problem is that they use temporary IPs, much like yourself(this is the first time you post with that IP) so even if we ban one, they can access it on another. All part of the program.

Prpl has banned many bots before: he has become very efficient at it.  Each bot is given a choice, and every time they have chosen to return to the source; freeing the next bot from the captcha, and renewing the cycle.

Boulderdash! These rpeated attacks can only be the work of Trolls like Raffles and Murof! granted Murof is a concept but he's a tricky one I tells ya! 8O

Nah I get it. XD Kind of a shame really. Trolls at least have some personality buried in there and their terribly constructed sentences are more than just advertizing. Gosh never knew I'd miss them so. T-T Hm? My IP was diferent? Ah I was using a cell phone I'd bet. My cell has this weird thing where it conceals my location. Don't know why and after the bomb threat from JeT? Don't care. Keeps me mostly safe.

That is very cold, but efficient. O.o I'd expect nothing less from their steely computerized brains.
