Has it really been a decade since I was last here?

Hiya. As you can see my name is Brieg but if you were big in the Charas community back in 2003ish you may remember me as Kairou. I caused a whole lot of hullabaloo and may or may not be the reason the ban system was created. There was a guy named pop and I think I was friends with someone named Darkfox. Looking back on some old posts I made on my many accounts, it was a lot of 12 year old drama and it's pretty hilarious.

Anyway I have been checking in and out of the RPG Maker world, but haven't really been a forum guy in a loooong time, not even posting on the forums for fandoms I am actually a really big part in. I paid for MV and have been dabbling here and there, and thought I'd check this place out in a nostalgic trip down memory lame. And man is this place nostalgic. It hasn't changed much in ten years and if I didn't know any better I'd say it was abandoned, but Charas is still bumpin and I recognize a lot of the names on posts so it seems some of the old gang is still around.

If anyone recognizes the name Kairou, say hi! Not sure how long I'll be around this time, just droppin in to catch up I guess.

Looking back on this current account's posting history, I guess I was using this account as recently as even 2014, but usually just to plug my projects. Man I was even a real **** back in college, let alone when I was a kid.

Whenever I pop back here the image of myself that I get is that I'm an old man in a wheelchair with a blanket over his legs. I'm not even the oldest member here, so presumably Archem, Prpl etc. are actual ghosts.

Also I made you monster battle sprites for some kind of mons type RPG if I'm not mistaken and ...you were most ungrateful. < < If I were the vengeful type I'd have to threaten you with fantasy violence. But thankfully I'm just the crazy kind and will threaten you with cartoon violence...but forgive you. -.- After all I was a terrible little jerk myself when I joined.

When I see you I try to picture you as the armor wearing red haired guy from Fire Emblem who isn't actually evil but often gets portrayed that way. Hence why I when I did you cameo I deliberately added a redemption storyline to your chapters. ....But I gotta admit it'd be hilarious to combine the two images...Kinda a FE Professor Xavier look. *Totally doesn't go off and sprite that*

What I recall is that he was one of the last surviving members of an order of dragonslayers, and he had superhuman powers because he was implanted with tree/plant bits and magic through secret rituals, and it changed his hair and eye colour as a side-effect.

Now that I think about it, he was a witcher, only I came up with him like 5-10 years before I knew The Witcher existed. Maybe this explains why I like The Witcher so damn much.

I know that feeling, although my characters tended to be generic mages compared to yours.

Wait,wait,wait,waaaaaaaaaaaaait! You had a game? O.o You never struck me as a maker. Then again I didn't know you when you were younger. Just the 'legend' that the name Dragonium whispered in the desolate winds of the Off Topic Board. Heh heh. Where you fed me to bears using a trap door. Ahh memories. Hmm didn't know about that plant aspect though. Always assumed you were more of a demonic power or fire based warrior with descent support skills but empahsis on crazy swordplay using a big serrated claymore. This is why we should have a Charas Character Data Base with a sticky. Think of all the Plant Type Pokemon jokes I could have spun off this! =P
