I ripped a battle theme, but since Jasper John over there is already doing one, I won't post it.

K, heres how large the characters are going to be compared to the normal rtp characters. I'll get the actuall full charset done soon so if anyone wants to make tile sets, they can use it to see how large they need to make things.

Most of the things such as trees, grass, and water can be left the same size (but i still dont want rtp). But things like walls, doors, and tables, need to be larger to fit the characters.

Note: This character will not be used in the game, but a simular one will be used for the main character. Exept, more detail, no armor in the begining of the game, and he'll have wings. Also note that this map will not be used.

Title screen, I have title screen that would work great, but I don't have any good programs to add the text. I guess this isn't that important at the moment, but meh.

Anyway if someones interested, feel free to add the text "SilverFire II" "Killer and Destroyer".

Yeah its cool, I forgot to say this, but I would rather have the title on the top of the screen rather than at the bottom. In most cases the text (start, load, end, or whatever) is at the bottom-middle. If the title is also at the bottom, it clutters the bottom too much and leaves the top empty, or at least thats my opinion.

Yeah its great, I don't think this will be a battle theme, but it would be perfect for some other places :D. It looks like I'll probably use it as a character/party theme though at the moment :)

Anyway thanks a lot!

Edit: I got some great scripts at the moment. I added 8 dirrectional movement, an improvement to some shop/equip screens, and I got one that will allow me to get rid of the defult loading title screen, and make my own, that way I can get a movie to play before hand and such.

Allright, heres a charset that shows how large the characters are going to be, I quickly did this, and only meant it to be an example, so it aint the best. You'll get the idea though :D

Ruby scripting allows you to edit or add anything you want to the game including the menu and battle systems, text, the way you walk, gfx sizes, how the title screen is desplayed, how large the message box is, and much more. It makes rmxp vertually limitless on what you can do.

I love working with gfx in rmxp, it has a higher resolution meaning I can make my gfx more detailed, and plus I can make 8-bit colors instead of 256 colors.

The bad thing about it is that it makes it harder for people who don't know ruby to work with it. They still can of course, but then they can't have facesets, they cant play movies, they cant change the transparancy of message boxes, and there stuck with the crappy battle system.
