Map trade

No everyone knows the right way to take maps from one project and move them to their own, but it is very simple if you really think about it. So for those who may want or need to know I made this short tutorial.

Things you will need to take
1. The chipset.
2. The settings for the chip set. " if you don't want to do it yourself"
3. The map it self.

“I know this seems a little dumb but a lot of people get this wrong, so hang in there”

What to do
Some people think the best way to take the maps is to just copy and paste the files in your computer but this will lead to a replacement of one of your already existing files I.E. maps. The only way to do right is to open the project with the map you are looking for. Then select and copy the map and close the project. After that open your own project and paste the file wherever you may need it. It mostly will come up with the wrong chipset  but that is an easy fix after you  import the needed chipset from the file and change the settings to match you needs.

As I have said before this is a very simple thing to do, but I didn’t want to have to tell everyone this same info over and over again. I can't make this any easier people.

And now ladies and gentlemen the critics.

Well in that case it's a LOT easier just to copy the entire project folder and then delete the maps and resources you don't need.

some would say that but i have found that if you have maps you have lready placed in to your game the best way to delete them is to just copy the project over. this way is the safest I have been able to find and it gives you more control.

keep em coming I got somthing to say about anything you can find wrong with this.
