Help with Online BattleChar Program
« on: October 20, 2004, 12:42:25 AM »
After making a battle character animation, I save the file as a php and place it with my other battle sets. However when I try to look at the image, it opens up with an "The image “file:///C:/Program%20Files/rpg2003/RTP/BattleCharSet/Byron.png” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors".

Can anyone help me on this problem? I tried also saving it with Gzip but that too has errors when try to extract it.

What I just do is copy the image into an image editing program (paint, idraw, etc.) and then just save it from there. Works perfect for me. I don't know if there's any other solutions.

Steps: Click Save Image in the Generator when you're done.
It'll bring up a seperate window and in that window right click                the image and hit copy.
Paste it into the image editing program and then save it.

I don't know if that idea worked or not but now I'm having a Black background when I try putting that character into my Rpg Maler Animation 2. Can anyone tell me how I can see my characters? I tried importing the file like the same way I do for the Charsets but it doesn't work that way.

Here's what I do; it works for me:

1. Make the generated stuff
2. Click "Save Image"
3. When the new window with my image comes up, I right-click on the image, and select "Save Target As..."
4. I select the image type as BITMAP [BMP] (not png, it doesn't work for me)
5. I type in the filename, AND ADD .BMP at the end.

Example:  charasimage.bmp <-- I have to put .bmp at the end, else it won't work

~~ Try it!  No other way works for me :D ~~
