Four Winds

Hi, I'm doing a game on RM2k3.
It's called Four Winds because most of the game will feature the 4 elemental energies of Fire, Water, Wind and Earth.
They show themselves in the world as winds, blowing from the north, south, east and west into the centre of the earth.
But what happens when the balance is disturbed?
Apocalypse, of course!
Yeah, I hope to get some screenshots soon.

More information would be nice. Why would they be disturbed? Do they contain great power or something? Who are you in the game? What is your role in the game? Villians? More information please.

Edit: Oh yeah, and how is Fire, Water, and Earth a wind? o_O

Righto...
You play as a guy who lives in a remote mountain settlement
with his dad.
His mum was killed by fever last winter.
However, when the summer comes,
your dad, who now drinks a lot,
comes back from the pub late one night with a mysterious accquantaince.
This accquantice seems to know your dad, and it is revealed that he is actually an assassin who kills your dad and sister.
However, he doesn't kill you, and leaves vvery soon after.
Anyway, that's all I have for now I'll do some more later.

I agree with AoS, calling the four elements all winds doesn't make sense. At least when you call one of the elements Wind. Maybe call that element Air, that would cause less problems than calling it Wind.

But it comes down to you, if you want to call it Four Winds, with one of the elements being wind, power to you.
After all, you're making the game
 



EDIT: I see these are your first posts, could you introduce yourself in test&welcoming? Oh and at the very least, don't request something like sprites before introducing yourself.

Ooh goodie another 'four crystals' sorta thing only now It's winds... No offense but try adding some other twist to the plot or people may complain It's too much like everything else...

BUT Ruler of the Dark is very right what you do is up to you I'm not stopping you. And yeah, screenshots would be good.

My God ppl!  For sake's he could've given them the title of four dogs, it's  game dang it. If you rather critic do it on real and comprehencional standards, like: WHy did it get disturbed...And I see the killing of the dad and sister irrevelant but oh well.

It's not only the name that people are discussing, the fact that he represents the four elements with one element. This IS part of the game, and is something that people seem to dislike.
In fact, the for dogs wouldn't be so bad. Four elemental dogs. Yay.

I wasn't criticizing, I actually really wanted to know. Like, maybe in his game, some dude transformed those elements into winds, just an example. I don't know, that's why I asked.

Thanks for the help people, it never occured to me that the whole Four Winds idea could become confusing. Also, one of my friends ponted out to me that the 4 elements/crystals/dogs idea was boring as it featured in lots of my earlier games, which were in fact Golden Sun clones, lol.
I still would like to base my game on that idea...
I didn't actually imagine the elemental winds as actaul winds, just sort of magical current. Maybe  the equivalent of a magical electric circuit. Or maybe leylines of some descriptions.
I like the idea of leylines. I want to work some sort of FF7-style materia system in my game too, a cross between Materia and the djinn of Golden Sun. Just an idea...

open the game and click in the small button called "print screen"
 than open a new .bmp and press ctrl+v, after that save it as .gif, its what I do, at least, if anyone knows a better way, I want to know too.
