I love how when I read your posts, it has the exact flow of grammar and speech as iishenron. And like Robotam said, lets not start a war in this thread. Usually when you post something bad about the game, you give a suggestion how to play it. And sorry, but "get rid of the whole cbs" doesn't really help. He's not gonna get rid of it. Your computer sucks. And if you don't like the game so frickin much, don't play it. You and iishenron (or should I just say "you") are the only people who don't like the game here. So he's not gonna change it for two people (more like 1 person) who don't like the game for certain reasons that they cannot even give a suggestion how to fix. So, sorry, but you're SOL.

My computer does not suck. iish and I didn't say the same thing. Maybe if you would actually read what I say, you would realize I never said the game lagged. It was just mind-numbingly slow in every respect. Good games aren't slow.

Oh great, now you guys dragged another noob in to argue. [Forever Zero] the computer sucking response was directed at iishenron. The reason being that even though he said that he has a good comp, there's a lag. Now, I have one comment to the three of you:

Ace: I've seen CBSes a lot more complicated and feature-driven than the one in this game run smoothly even on my old P1 200 Mhz PC, not to mention this one. Sorry, the fault here is entirely with the maker of the game. As I said before, I can run Morrowind on this PC, so there's no reason why a Rm2k3 game should run so slowly. Unless you want to argue that Dragon Wars is more intensive than Morrowind.  

All I've done is given my opinion. But, again, if the creator of this game doesn't want criticism, he should say "praise only". If you open the floor for C&C, expect to get it.

And with that, I'm done. I've given my piece, and if the creator isn't interested in improving his product and making a game that can be competitive with the better games in the community ( which right now it is not ), then hey, nothing more I can do.

iishenron: It's great that you've given your opinion, but when you give negative feedback, NORMALLY you have a suggestion to improve it. Your suggestion was just take out this, and use this, cuz yours sucks. He's proud of his work, and isn't gonna remove it just because one person says to. If you read earlier posts, you would've seen that he's trying to remove different lags. Be sure to read earlier posts before you comment.

WIP: Your problem with things is that things such as the text is too slow in many areas. Well, usually that adds a little bit of a real feeling to it. Lets say that he had a narrarator for the beginning. Do you think that the narrartor would talk ridicualously fast? No, he'd talk slow to add some suspense. Well, that's kinda what DB was trying to do.

My computer runs at less than 2 ghz, has an integrated graphics card, and is over two years old. Not to mention its a laptop, which aren't even as good as the desktops made at the same time as this computer was. My game dosen't lag at all, on my comp.

If you would have read my post before replying, you would know that I said I like negitive feedback. Heres a quote of what I said, please read it this time.

Now, the differance between everyone elses negitive feedback and yours is that you're just telling me to scrap everything thats differant about my game. That dosen't even help me at all.

I took into consideration some of the things advocate said at WoTM, for example, he said something along the lines of switching to a pictire based battle system, so I'm probably gonna do that.

 

And there's a reason not every game has the "systems" you've put into your game.

You are absolutly right, its because most people don't know how too. But 95% of the poeple who know how to make a cbs, and are willing to take out the time to make one, will make one.

 

If you don't like it, then say "My game is absolutely perfect. I'm going to laugh at all criticism because if you don't think my game is perfect, you're obviously mentally deficient."

Once again I have to say, your an idiot. Why? because you're not even reading what I typed. Thus you make yourself look like an idiot, by just typing the opposite of what I said. Don't make me bring back the quote of "I like negitive feedback". What you're giving me is "scrap everything differant about your game, cuz I like using the defult stuff in all the games I play".

Heres an example of what you could have said, that would actually be helpfull iishenron on your first comment.

1. Holding down the shift key to run all the time gets kind of annoying, maby you could add an option to turn the dashing system on and off.

Third, the CBS itself is inferior to Rm2k3's DBS, is chipset based, and very, veeeeeeeeeeeeery slow. I'd suggest either moving to 2k3's DBS, or, if you've just got to have a CBS so you can brag about having a CBS, moving to RmXP.

See what I'm getting at? Your critisizm dosen't help me one bit.

As for you W.I.P., I have a feeling you may be iishiron or he told you to join this. I don't know why anyone would go into an old topic, and restart the arguement. Especially since you left started again on the same things iishiron just said. And what makes it even more suspicious is that your a complete noob to this site, and yet you dug up my topic which was really old and posted stuff in that instead of posting to active threads.

Now iishenron, W.I.P., if you're not going to have anything worth while to say, just shut up and save everyone some time. If you wish to give me suggestions on how to improve something (not just taking it out) feel free to post here. You've allready made your point about the lag, and even before you got here, I said I was in the process of fixing that.

Maybe if you would read MY posts, DB, you would see that I'm not iishenron. I never said your game lagged. I said you're a horrible designer, not programmer. Big difference in bringing RM2k3 to its knees and driving a stake through my head because everything is so slow.

What does it matter if I'm a complete noob to this place? This game and topic was brought to my attention, so I downloaded it and played it. I felt the need to register an account and post, hoping you would realize the many flaws in your game. Instead of willing to accept that your game ISN'T the new christ, you simply call me an idiot and claim I'm someone I'm more than obviously not.

I'll reiterate what iishenron said: if this game is able to mend the wounds in every man's heart, post it at GW. GW is the largest english community around. Why deprive them of eternal youth?
