Any of you into Martial Arts?
« on: March 21, 2005, 09:00:40 AM »
I took Shoren-ryu for three years, then I moved. I started Aikido and did that for a few months, I might start up again. Did Tai Chi Chun for a year. I swordfight regularly and have been seince I was 5. Getting new Shinai in a few days.

And I'm going to a Kempo introductory, to see if I like it at 4:00PM.

Any of you into that sort of thing?

I did Shoren-ryu for like 2 months...then my parents took me  out and put into English classes, which made it possibly for us to be talking now so be thankful! (j/k, but serious about the shoren-ryu thing)

I could've started tai kwon doe, only I was to lazy to keep (I quited after 3 days -_-)

I'm training ju-jutsu once a week now... (I have a hard time remembering what I've learned though, and our teacher won't tell us the words for each move...)

and my cusin is showing me a few moves of some wierd martial art every now and then (he says it's what ninjas practise, I dun belive that)

what is "Shoren-ryu" By the way???

I was thinking of learning Jeet Kun Do but then my family would be cursed for mixing styles. So I prefer Green Beret training so I could fight like Snake.
