In your head, the help files *really, no?*, and around here in various tutorial threads...but not in this one

The help files are not that helpful (lol). They show what most things on the Maker do but they don't tell you how to use them.

For tutorials, I suggest that, maybe, I'm not sure, but, have you looked on the tutorial board? You may find on the oldest posts.

That doesn't make much sense. Yes they show you a wide variety of different codes for things like day/night, running, weather(if  I can remember) as well as a few general categories. I don't understand "they don't tell you how to use it", make up the game in your head, and if you find that you need weather, consult the help files. That's how it works.

Also, check the tutorials here, as well as the sample game. It has simple coding, but it's still good to see the basic stuff like talking NPCs and chests.

Which Final Fantasy 8 Character Are You?

You are Laguna! Although you're way too shy with the opposite sex, you've got a heart of pure gold. You're a good leader and well liked by those who know you. Most of your friends look to your good sense when they need advice.

Take the Final Fantasy 8 Test here!

Hum...I think you're talking about a different help file than mine. There's nothing in my help file on how to run or make night..

i simply used my brain and searched "RPG maker 200 tutorial".. Well thats for 2000 but the basics are the same... that page was http://www.angelfire.com/rpg2/rgz/rpgmakertut.html... Search RM2K3 tutorial in google or something and i am sure you will find one.
