Way back when? Dude, where have you been? They did succeed - why do you think the war on terrorism started? It's all a distraction to prevent you from seeing AOL taking over the world.

Back on topic, I think Google's growing a bit too fast. They'll eventually outgrow their resources, and they'll collapse in a massive political firestorm that involves Mexican slave labor or drug cartels or something.

Youtube will definatly NOT stay as is.
The dudes that owned Youtube didnt get sued for alot of stuff, like copyright infringment, and song royalties....because they had no money.

Google on the otherhand.....Google can get sued.....hardcore.

therefore......

Expect to see alot of the coolness on Youtube killed. Concert videos....anything with a songclip that wasnt authorized....

More advertising....and in turn......less "questionable" content, on account of corporate sponsors objecting to certain material.


im sorry to say it......but Youtube is pretty much dead to us.
