Requiem for Yesterday
« on: July 14, 2005, 08:49:53 AM »
I have a great storyline for my rpg, ample resources, some decent maps, great characters, and a satisfactory database. I can e-mail the storyline upon request, but I don't like compressing it into what you would read off of the back of a movie box or something like that. The hero's on a quest... To stop the bad guy(s) save the world, and find himself. (You'll see.)
I am a writer, but I'd love to get constant feedback on my storyline and I'd probably keep asking you for advice.
These are the teammates I'm looking for:
Mapmaker: someone to make maps for the game. I have exactly 1,021 chipsets that I'd be willing to share with this partner.

Coder: someone to make cutscenes and cinematics for the game. Don't worry I'll provide a script, but timing isn't my thing.

Database: someone who can setup the game's database, including skills, items, monsters, and common events.

Misc: This is pretty much anyone who can add anything unique to the game, like a CBS, a kewl menu, or something along those lines.

I'm looking forward to working with you and I want you to know that I would consider you all full partners and you'd probably get a bigger space in the credits section that me.  ;)
Thank you.

Is there a position for someone to type for you? Because that seems like the only thing you plan on doing for your game.

Okay I apologize and thank you for replying as you did. I'm not completely helpless. I've been using the program for about 3 years, beginning with rm95. I will contribute more to the rpg than i said i would. I can write, do items and skills, i could create a map as a rough draft for you, common events, and maybe a few cinematics (once again as a rough draft). The reason I want team members,  and this is why you guys are ragging on me, is not because i want to finish the game right away and only have to do a little bit of work. I want someone i can exchange ideas with. I do all of my writing when everyone in my house is asleep, and my brother doesn't care about RPGs. I want to be able to write something and even have a teammate tell me why it sucks. At least it's feedback. Sorry to have sounded like a spoiled little brat, but I'm not really.
P.S. Thanks for accepting guys! I'll e-mail you soon.

Thanks/Sorry,

Hey Pyro, Neonlare, since you guys accepted, would you like to read my storyline (via e-mail)? or do you wanna keep it all "strictly business"? I think it's a pretty good storyline. Well it's your call. Lemme know.
Thanks again,
