For Fire Emblem styled battle , I recommend using Battle Animations rather than the Battle Character resource.  Since FE battle sprites usually have more than 3 frames per action, 25 is usually a better number to work with.  Not to mention timing, sound, transparency, etc.

Heck, I recommend using Battle Animations period.  Regardless of style.

search for templates in animations, find a fire emblem sheet, edit it how you want it, and fix it together into the animation, then just put it together into an animation in the program.  add sounds effects, flashing, transparency, and voila, done.

if you have the animation frames fully assembled together, edited and all that stuff, ready to be made into a full animation, find the picture on your computer, import it by pressing the import tab, going to the animation tab, then press import, go to the file on your computer, double click, then your ready to put it together.

now press database, go to the animation tab, make a new animation, name it and click the three dots to the right of the name, and find your animation.  click, then put the animation together.  if you need help putting it together send me the image, tell me what the dude's doing and I'll put something nice together.

if I was uclear just say so.

Umm...I got some sprites but it says invalid colour depth. How can I change the colour depth? ( I have Paint .net for a Picture editing software)

I had that exact thing so any more I make the image, export, that's right, export something out into the same folder, then copy the original image, put the picture into the RTP you just exported, change the name then import that.

Hey, hey, hey. That title must only be used in the context of solid welcoming. It is used to invite in the people of the outside world, not to... Suggest that the person is actually a silly fool. Really, that would be just plain foolish.

Anyway, that is a Fire Emblem battlecharset, alright...

Yep...

Wait, what does he exactly want again? Look for Fire Emblem sprites on the web and put them into a BattleCharSet template. Make color and small edits with Paint as necessary.
