Go to the Animations 2 section of the database. There, you'll have your different battlecharas. Select the battlechara you want to modify and go to the Animation Type tab. Change they type of animation for all the different poses (or some. If you're weird like that) to Battle Animation, and select the animation that you want used.

A little note: Defense and Death animations don't loop when used, and as such, can be as flashy and as long as you desire. In fact, any of the animations can be as long and detailed as you want them to be.

Make sure your "Idle Stance" is 500 frames long. Your hero will "disappear" for one second if nothing happens to him at all. The 500 frames will help stop this.

Of course this could go by very slowly if you do it one frame at a time. If you want to finish the 500 frames in a quick way, use the "Mass/Copy Clear" Option. Say you have the first 20 frames filled out, and 500 total. Set the Frame Range to 1-20, and the Starting frame to 21. Check the Copy box and press OK. Now the first 40 frames will be filled out.

Keep doing this (1-40, 41) (1-80, 81) until all are filled.
