A little hasty?  Come on guys, give the guy a break.  It seems like anymore whenever someone new comes into these forums you guys are trying to chase him away.  And I've seen most of the worst from you.  So just let him be.  Wait till the details and screenshots come in.  OK, so if he's a newb the game might not be awesome, but seriously, don't take away all the motivation.  Everyone was in his spot once.  Actually, I'm still in that spot.  Everyone has to start with one game and work their way up.  Don't make them think that they have no RPG making potential and cause them to just give up on it.

Oh, and people tend to not like fan games, especially FF7, Zelda, DBZ or anything like that.  Just because they tend to not be original, but it's your first game.  Take a hack at whatever tickles your fancy.

Just1question is right! cut him some slack.  Soon he might have a breakthrough in programming and will not share it with you guys.  Hey man just keep trying, don't worry about what they say and just tell everyone what makes your game very different.  Originality is the key word.  bring in something great and new and people will praise you.
