Sorry for being all negative an all but i think this is not nessesary, you dont want to move i get it , but look at it from your parents point of view maybe they want to move for thier own reasons, you cant just tell your parents "i dont want to move" thats being selfish, your parents put a roof over your head, put food on your table, and support you, and this is what they get in return!, in my experience i have moved 4 times and signing a petition never crossed my mind, useually i would put my other family members before me, the only thing i can say is the only way to stop you from moving is to graduate move back to utah and live your life how you want to. Sorry for bringing you down buts thats my opinion, you can try but i hope you think about it first.

Not to mention that the reasons are ridiculous. The one statistic about social lives is good, but sea demons? Catci? Cotton? Come on. If Tom is so concerned about staying, he's going to have to find some better reasons. Reasons like "Everything I know is here, and moving to another entire new state where I know nothing scares me!"

Actually ive been to texas and i really liked it there, you dont know unlees you try, you might like texas better than utah

Also how does he know if it would corupt his life? It might better his education, his love life (maybe), and his overall friendship

I'd like to thank everybody that signed and apologive to ZeroKirby.  I overdid it back there.  Anyway, the reason Tom is being forced to move to Texas is so his dad can earn more money, but the thing is his dad makes ALOT of money anyway.  The extra money isn't really necessary, especially because of all the trouble it will cause Tom.  They actually went on vacation to Texas about a month ago and Tom's father said he didn't really like it there at all.  So we're just trying to get as many reasons as we can for them to not move, because chances are his dad won't like it there anyway.

Maybe his dad got fired, or knows he's about to be. If he's aready making alot of money, like doctor money, there's probably a serious reason that he wants to move if he doesn't have to. And I'm talking dying mother kind of serious.
