In what way? Most of the script explanations in there are in japanese, so you won't be able to script at all, which means that, in the longrun; RMXP is actually going to restrict you more than RM2K3.

Not true, there are many many differant scripts in english that are ready to be put into your game. I've seen around 20 cbs scripts, 30 cms scrips, shadow effects, mirror effects, pixal 8 dirrectional movement, face in message scripts, and almost any type of scripts you can think of.

Since RMXP uses Ruby, you can find plenty of tutorials on how to script with it, I have also seen tutorials on every rmxp defult script and what they do and such.

Graphics on the other hand...
