I know a page where you can get them. But, is it illegal to post sites of where to download the RPG_RT.exe file, but not the RTP?
If it is not, I can tell you.

Well, I can't feel good about the game unless I actually have the resources to make it, and the only department I really have any skill in is music and plot. I can't get far with music and plot.

You're a lot like the gfx whores. If a game doesn't have good graphics, it will not last. You phail at life.

Since when do graphics matter? I don't have an XBOX or PS2 because I don't give a damn about graphics. All the games I like are on cube. If you can make a good game with okay graphics, only an ignorant asshat won't like it.

I believe that we have a charaset genorator and a buttload of complete resources, all for you to choose from.

EDIT: Oh, and I suck hard at making music and sound effects, but its not holding me back.

If you call me a graphics whore, then tell me:  Would you care at all if in the game, the hero were a dot, and a normal house looked like an Escher painting?

It's all too common for people to just lose interest in their projects it seems though, or that it's just too much for them since they ussually run the project alone or with little help.

I personally have no intentions of showcasing a project on Charas since I for a fact know that it wouldn't go anywhere, and I never have enough time to dedicate myself to that kind or ordeal.

I'll just stick with composing for one main project at a time, that's pretty demanding as it is.
Freelancing on the side is always good though too, right Ace -_^

As long as the story is good.

Seriously though, I could live just fine if the graphics were sub par if the story was good.

You don't get the point, do you?

Graphics don't make a game. Good-looking graphics are nice, sure, but if the plot is good, then why bother caring?

Isn't this same discussion going on in another thread by CoolZidane?

I agree with you. I almost had an entire plot figured out for one of my games, but since no one would help me, I lost motivation and trashed it.

I'll never trash mine.
I have reason enough to keep going, and I'm not letting anything stop me.

You still shouldn't forget that video games are overall a visual experience an graphics have a great part in the game's fun factor.
