How many are also the least favorite of the family?
« on: July 17, 2005, 03:28:52 PM »
I'm basically posting this so I can get this off my chest before I snap at my own family.

I live with 2 brothers, Brother A - Age 19 and Brother B - Age 17, and I am the youngest at age 15.  It is said that the middle is the least favorite, and the youngest is the most favorite.  HA!  By all means, I SHOULD be the favorite, but for some reason, I'm not.  Compared to my brother's, I'm the good one.  Brother A goes to college, and spends a whole lotta money on random crap.  Not so bad.  Brother B has no job, has no life, and is a complete jack*** (and is the favorite, I might add.)  None of them do the chores theyre supposed to do, and I find myself covering for them.  I imagine I can be a little annoying, but B B (Brother B, I got tired of typing that out), is wat worse, and I have no money to spend, so I'm not like B A.  "But oooog, what possessed you to type this?"  Alright, here's a few examples on how I get screwed over.

MOST RECENT SCREW-OVERS  (Rated in 1-10 how i felt afterwords (10 meaning felt super screwed over)

Thursday 7  (3/10)
Screwed Over because - My mom lectured me because I didn't go out and run like I was supposed to do for cross country.  My knee got hurt on the last run, so thats why i didn't go.  My brother hasn't run for 2 months because he kicked a chair "really really really hard" and hurt his toe, 3 months ago.  Lecture for him?  No, not mister hurt-toe.
Good thing that happened - OMG!!  I actually got a piece of pizza this time when I came back from a friends house!

Tuesday 12  (4/10)
Screwed Over because - My brother ate the last of my favorite type of pop-tarts, everyone just laughed and said "oh ho ho ho what a character"  I ate the last bagel bites and he starts whining and everyone was upset with me.
Good Thing - those bagel bites were gooood.

Wednesday 13 (1/10)
Screwed Over because - No biggy, just I had to do all the chores in the house AGAIN, with no thanks from Brothers or Parents.
Good Thing - Lemme get back to you on that.

Thursday 14 (6/10)
Screwed over because - I didn't want to go to my "friends house", so my dad lectured me and made me go.  Upon return, I found out they went to various fun places that I wanted to go to.
Good Thing - They brought me back some of their left over candy.

Friday 15 (2/10)
Screwed Over because - Again, did all the chores but got treated like crap afterwords.
Good Thing - FINALLY got to see B B get yelled at...a little..

Saturday 16 (124.352.654,124,743,196,042,546/10)
This is what Possesed me to make this post.
Screwed Over Because - For my birthday, I got a laptop.  It wasn't the greatest, but I still dealed with it.  Upon returning from a boring pic-nic (because it rained the whole time)  I find out that B B got a laptop.  Not just any laptop, he got one that was twice as good as mine.  I had to wait for my birthday to get a laptop, and I get the one I got.  He does absolutely nothing, and he gets one that was better than mine.  No special occasion, nothing.  The only downside was that he didn't have a wireless card.
Good Thing - I was too pissed off to notice anything good happen.

Today 17 (Number Above/10)
Screwed Over because - He's getting a wireless card.
Good Thing - I'm getting this crap off my chest before I snap.

Multiply each of those for each day for the past....10 years or so, thats how I'm currently feeling.  I never really noticed all this stuff till the laptop.

Comments, Questions, Complaints, Insults, Feel Free to post.

(P.S. I have been working on RPG Maker again, I'm just developing a story and gathering resources ta the moment.)

hmmm, that really sounds GAY !.. And why the hell cant your B brother get a job?!. If he is 18 and aint doing anything with his life he shouldent get anything from anyone untill he goes studying or whatever. And brother A if he is rich, why not let him pay his own stuff he wants?, and if you actually did all things at home the Cleaning and **** you should definitly get good paid. And thats because your brothers aint doing nothing " as said in your story". Dammit, if you talk too your parents they shall understand and if they dont. Move away from that house and move too a friend of yours or whatever !". Once i had my best friend living here for a year. But we only asked if he could.... And when he lived here i thought my mom liked him more than me :@.... Talk too your parents m8 !!!! NOW

wow... those last days were a b**** (hint: female dog)

about that laptop thingy.. even though the on that BB got a better laptop, dun let it go to your head... also, If your brothers are making you do their choirs... why do you do them? cuz they are older? Stronger? taller? why?
Take it from me, Don't take S*** from anyone, It's easier, Trust me ;)
I think you need to talk to your parents about your brothers... but thats up to you...

Good that you let it of your chest though... some ppl go suicidal cuz they never talk about such things with anyone...

Yeah, only do your chores. your parents can't exactly tell you off for not doing your brother's _sweat_

Sounds tough though. I like to think my parents treat us all equally :) I've got two brothers too.

Wow, that sucks. I'm sometimes treated like that but not all the time. It usually happens when my dad is drunk. He just comes into my room and starts yelling "PULL OUT THE WEEDS! NOW!" o_0

Talking to your parents might help, but it might get you into deeper doo-doo...  :|

Kids need to stop complaining about parents unless they physically abuse you or are constantly yelling at you for absolutely no reason.

Talk to your parents about it. And who knows, maybe you should snap, because then everyone would know how you feel.

Im one of the Favs...for sad reasons Im one the only few in my whole family to go to College, most of them never even made it out of high school and there's around 300 people in my family. The way I see it if you dont like what they do then...leave...simple as that..yes you can legally leave. or do as my friend did...get in trouble on purpose so that you'll get kicked out..(bold move, I liked it)

Hmm, I'm sorry to hear that you are mistreated as well. I do like, every chore in the house, and my big sister (21 years old) gets free computers (2 in the last 4 months), free plane tickets, and a bunch of over junk. I know how it feels.

My mom never yells at her, but me and my little sister always get yelled at for not doing our work. I mean, what the heck, I do everyone's work, and I don't do enough work? (according to her)

I suppose the best advice I can give is the advice I use: Just put up with it and try to ignore the fact that your siblings are treated better. It works for me. (most of the time)
