Change Graphic

Is there a way to permanently change the Hero graphic?  Or do you always have to put a "Change Hero Graphic" Event in each Teleport?

When you click on change hero gaphic and change the look it should stay. I did that and my guy stayed looking like what I turned him into.

if ur talking about the "walk graphic" u must choose , in the event command, the : Set Hero Walk GFX, then, u put the one u want, and, if u want a completly new character....you could Change Party, removing the one u have, and replacing by the one u would like to have, hope it helps you !

P.S. when u change de hero graphic in Move Event, ur character will only be the "new one" if ur staying in the same map....

I know that 'Change Sprite Association' works correctly. It sticks even after teleports.

Ok...theres a bit of confusion, so i will make an example.

In Zelda, Link can change his Tunic.  From Red to Green and Blue.  But when he teleports to a new map, he is still wearing the same clothes.  But you can switch his clothes, and it will again stay the same when you teleport.  So, is there a way to do that in rm2k3 without making the Hero have to Change back to the same graphic everytime he teleports?

Ex: Hero wears white shirt.  Goes to closet to change to red shirt.  When he teleports, he goes back to white shirt.  Unless you put a "Change Graphic" command in the teleport event, he will change back to the white shirt.  Is there a way to do this without always having to add the "Change Graphic" command?

It didn't stay permanent for me either. Try what blackskullwarlock said - the sprite association change.
