For those of you who have played any of my games, you know that they have a lot to do with dragons, I'm sorry, but this one is no exeption :p

Story:

A 50 year war between humans and dragons is finally coming to an end. Both sides want piece, but one final task remains. there are still a few who crave war. The game starts off with a green dragoness flying over a forest carrying an egg, when all of the sudden a black serpent starts pursuing her.The serpent fires a few shots at the dragon, causing her to drop the egg into the forest below. The two face off, and just before the serpent gets a shot off, the green dragon is able to release a burst of energy, when it dissapates, the two are nowhere to be seen.

Meanwhile in the forest below, the egg hatches, and you start off on your journy. Starting off on a tutorial mission to find some food, Zesher, the little red dragon, learns a few things about the world as he tracks down a fox-like creature.

The main part of the game starts 14 years later as he is chased out of the forest by some unknown creatures. Although the war is over, a few skirmishes are still being fought on the outer rims of civilization. Being only 14, Zesher is easily manipulated to participate in some of these battles. He follows others blindly untill during one raid two orphans (Nioma and Jarrek) beg for them to stop. He listens, but then another dragon enters the scene called Zersevick, seeming oddly familuar, Zesher wishes to investigate. His efforts are in vain as the two break out into a fight, both are badly injured, Zersevick manages to flee the scene, while Zesher collapses on the ground. The people of the town want to kill him, but the two orphans manage to drag him out of town to a deserted cabin.

It takes a week for Zesher to recooperate, and during this time the three get to know eachother. Nioma is an adventurious girl who has always wanted to go looking for her real parents, Jarrek, her older brother, is more of the quit type and would rather settle down somewhere and start a farm. Unfortunatly for him, he's vowed to take care of his sister when the two were very little, so now he goes along with her wherever she goes to protect her. Anyway, Zesher has made quit a few enemies already, and the outer territories aren't a safe place, so he decides to travel to the capatol (Zaddamal). Nioma wants to come with in hopes of finding her partents, and thus Jarrek is dragged along as well. Secretly Zesher also wants to find Zersevick, he doesn't know why exactly, but he knows he must.

The plot quicly develops and thickens as the party learns more about themselves and who Zesher really is. Doubt sets in, it seems that for every step forward they take, they go back two while searching for answers, all the while as danger looms around every corner as they make their way to the capatol.

OK, a lot of the heroes are pretty young, but theres a time gap half way through or so when they go their seperate ways and grow up a bit. During the first half I'm not gonna set them off to save the world or anything like that, but it'll still be fun :)

I'll be needing some voice actors for this game for battle skills and attacks, so if you have a microphone and would like to do some voice overs, please let me know :)

I have screens and I'm almost done with a very small demo, but since its made for a 'certain' system, I won't post them here. You'll have to talk to me elseware if you want to see the screens.

Voice Actors thus far:

Zesher - Weerd Thing
Nioma - open
Jarrek - Chocobomaster09
Yara - open
Sal'ahhadra - open
Keckshio - PyroAlchemist
Kyruto - Fortet
Zersevick - CoolZidane
[Name Pending] - Open

So this means her attacks will always miss when used against Undead and Constructs, because they have no life force.

Thanks :)

I don't really have his parts down yet because *spoiler* he doesn't come on your party till almost the end of the game, and even then its optional. *end of spoiler*

I'll give you the parts as soon as I get them though :)

Heres a pic I recently (as in 5 mins ago) touched up from an old ms paint drawing of Zersevick. I feel its best to get the feel for the character before trying to do voice overs for them :)

Hmm, I haven't really thought about that, lets say that she can lock on  to their negitive energy :p, otherwise I'll just set her accuracy down really low for them.

Very good man, I like this story a lot, and it seems much better than A Dragon World's. I look foward to your demo, and even though it's made with this 'certain system' I'll still play it because I'm very interested. ^_^

THe war type thing is quickly being overused but i can't really talk cause mine has war in it too :P besides that it looks pretty nice, I love dragons as well and to see a game revolving around them is good. I'm REALLY glad you didn't just do a team consisting only of dragons, that would have been a real dissapointment. So I'm glad to hear about this, i'll be sure to keep up with it.

Thanks guys :)

@starduster - I agree the war thing is over used, but in times of peace, there really isn't as much drama, it just works better this way. I want a mix of humans and dragons to add conflict and diversity, it works really well with two species that where just at war with each other :)

Thanks :) If you would like to get a mic and help out it'd be great, but I don't want you to feel obligated to buy anything. Anyway, a deep voice would be good for a few chars :)

Thanks :), I've had this game planned out for at least two years now, but there was always something keeping me from making it. But now I'm really happy that I actually got started.

I think the names can use some work though. They sound like you tossed together a bunch of cool vowels and stuff and made some name.

Theres too many K's.

The key to a good party of heros is balance.

I can't wait till I play that introduction when the egg falls into a forest and all that.
Amazing story, DB.. I will have huge expections for this one.

Btw, may I ask you.. Some of those characters there are in your other game.. Is this before or after the events of your first game?

However, I wish you luck with this one. ^_^

I agree, I tried to diverse the names and the heros themselves as much as I could, I'm not the best with names though. These names are just the defults though, you'll be able to select most of the hero names :)

Sure, I still need to write up the lines, but I'll have it to you soon :)

I used the characters from this game as a basis for the other. I originally started making the other game as a contest entry for another site, it was just gonna have a bunch of mini games and such in the town. I then slowly developed it into a game after the contest was cancelled. So the characters and the game aren't really ralated at all. The only two characters that will be almost exactly the same are Yara and Kyruto, and I didn't really get to them in my last game.

I'll probably work on my other game in between this one as well, cuz I really don't have much left to do on that one.
