No. They're acting like adults. One step towards adult...ness...

Talking is good.

You mean the fact that it's still cold?

Sorry, I wasn't attackiing you (at least not intentionaly), I think I misunderstood your signature.

As you can see we are already arguing. Do you really think we need to keep this up?

Yes, yes, I do. If we don't, we won't know what are we doing wrongly, therefore, we will never be better than now.

And charas has learned from the past, the community contest is an example of that. Charas isn't perfect and will never be but what we're at is just stupid.

I agree with that, that why I think we should listen what everyone has to say.
Plus, "pathetic"? We can run for the next elections!

I believe this is already starting to come to an end here.
Everyone can say what they feel needs to be said, but I still think it's pretty obviously what we're doing wrong.
We just need to stop whine, at least that's what I think.

I may be naive for saying this but Raffles will give up and never come back soon, he might actually already have.

It's up to the few children of Charas who can see the truth to save the entire board. Good luck.

According to God Of War, your usage of Pandora's Box is wrong. Pandara's Box granted mortals the power to beat a god. So, it's wrong. Just felt like saying that.

I strongly believe that everyone has just had a little too much caffene, and a few too many summer days off, and just sort of enjoy causing trouble for the heck of it. And everyone's got a theory, and everyone wants the good old days back, and everyone blames the moderators for not doing something, and no one really has any idea WHAT should be done, but they're pretty sure it's not being happening right now.

Here's some advice. Back in the "good old days" we started threads talking about the good old days too. Everyone always glorifies the past, becaue the problems of the past fade away and we remember the good times. Today isn't all that much worse than yesterday. Tomorrow won't be that much worse, and it probably won't be all that much better (though seeing all this crappy threads makes me wonder how it couldn't be better...). Point is, the past is gone and tomorrow's still over the horizion. You've got today and that's all you will ever have. You can enjoy it, or you can complain about it. I plan on enjoying it.

True Sai. Why exactly are we looking at the past? What has passed is done. It may have been good, but why not look toward the future? What will you gain by trying to live in the past? Nothing. All we can control is our actions now to build a better future. This may sound a bit sappy, but it's true. Forget about the upsets of yesterday. Think about what the future may bring. Miniscule differences are wedging us apart. We need to except the differences in people and just enjoy what we have. Until we can do that, Charas will remain in the broken state it's in.

I pretty much just said what Sai said, but a little bit of reinforcing isn't bad.

I was away for one day, and the next thing I see is this thread. I thought all of that was in the past. I hadn't seen any threads like this for a while. So what happened? Did some new member join and start causing havoc again?

I think looking to the future creates an even bigger problem.  See, while looking at the past and trying to relive it, makes us dwell and never progress past our current problem, so too does looking at what you think should happen at some time ahead.

The only way to take care of a problem is to start now, now, now, NOW.  The present.  Everyone's minds are always on what has or they think is going to happen, who really thinks about where they are and what they are doing?  Exjoy the *now* while it is here, and make some plans for the future, but don't be derailed if they don't succeed.  Just keep dealing with the now.

Right *now* Charas needs a place to contain this enormous fire and a place to report member abuse.

Funny thing is, without all these threads complaining about the problem, half the members wouldn't even be aware of a problem :D

I'm with you, Robotam, as always.

Gary: Jeezus, It's STILL COLD???

I'm logging off now. See you fine peoples in the morning, I hope you'll have come up with something by then :)

No. Pandora's Box was an unnamed box filled with everything bad. It was given to Pandora as a wedding gift. She married one of the Titans, if I am correct. Either that or a giant. Anyway, after opening it, which she was prohibited to, all bad things, including death, escaped the box. In panic, she shut the box, but then she heard a faint voice. Inside the box was hope, and, after all bad things she's done, she also did something right, she released hope.

It is a metaphore for females being evil, according to the Greek. Damn you ****ing faggots!

And yes, most Greek people were gay.

So yeah, it's still cold.
