Hey guys, its been awhile, but I'm back in action.  :)

Haven'y worked on my game in a week, but I did manage to wip up an inner for a village in the game.  I'd like to know if it needs anything else (besides ppl :p)  So yeah, this is just to show that I'm still working on the game.

Comments are always welcome. :D

I like the map, except where that mat is by the entrance, I would make it slightly larger than one square. It just seems a bit small, is all (ooh rhyme :D ).

Using the shift key you could make it look like it's even in the squares occupied by the wall, if you see what I mean. Which you probably don't, as I'm not in the most articulate of moods.

A good way to make your inner maps look good is to use the two stages of "dirty tiles" (As in, the "slightly darker" and "much darker" tiles) to make it look as though the floor has been walked on. Try putting very dark tiles in the doorway and corners, to make "paths" around the room where folks normally walk, and then edging it with "slightly dark" to make it blend. I can't give a screenie as I'm on a school compy at the moment, but here's a paint diagram so's you get my meaning.

Trust me, it makes your maps look damn professional.

Hmm...I see what you mean.  Thanks Drag. :D

Anyways, here's a new screen.  For those of you that played the demo, you know that the Temeri Cargo ship bound for Skylars hometown was doomed.  Well, at the beggining of Chapter 3, you go back to Skylars story.  You start off at the crashed ship, and eventually end up at an oriental styled house, where two kids live.  I wont give away what happens here, but its pretty cool.

P.s.- Trance is looking at a map.  xD

Well, I don't think you brought out the true use of that chip, but it's ok looking, so long as the cutseen isn't too long.

Gaagh!

Look, sometimes cutscenes need to be long, or the story collapses. If you can't stick a cutscene to the end, you shouldn't be playing RPGs.

Which also goes for me, whose game is now reaching towards MGS-frequency cutscene status.

Where are all the regulars?  I used to get so many more people stopping by and offering help/ideas/comments.  I guess members are more interested in all the new games that newbs are posting.  That and just talking about stupid random **** in the All of All forum.  Yeah, I'm in a real shitty mood so whatevs.
Err...I'm mapping and eventing at the same time.  You guys don't deserve a screen, so maybe later I'll post one.   _sweat_
If all keeps goin well, you can expect a new demo in June.................yeah.......................

No, I think all the people who had stuff to say already said it, and since not much is different, theres not much new to say. The sooner you get an actual product out the more active this will be.

Gaahg!

Look, sometimes cutscenes need to be long, but that's ok! If you stick a long cutscene to a meh map, you shouldn't want to view the cutscene for very long.
