yep, cuase we all can write SOOO much better, lol....I couldn't touch it. It's an emotional piece more than a technical one. It doesn't deserve bashing just becuaase people over like it.  Soooooo I don't agree, it's far from icky. Just look at the movements; full of suspence and tweeks, listen to the WHOLE thing, not just the last 4 minutes.

I like the main theme from Metal Gear Solid 2. You can feel the whole game in it. The drama, tragedy, confusion, action. It's all in there.

Ah, memories there. They even had Moonlight Sonata on an Anime, it was Case Closed I believe.

I can play it on piano, and I really like the song, but I think its just overused in every way possible.

I LOVE NOVENA!!!!! By far THE BEST song we played in band last year. I loved playing the chimes too that was cool. I was extremely happy to be playing them for that, and that it would be me out of all the people that could have played them. Once in a lifetime oppurtunity for me really.

As far as piano solos go, I'm working on Solfeggietto, by Bach, which moves at a tempo of a quarter note = 144 and only lasts about 56 seconds, but it's really hard it's still gonna be some time before I perfect it.

Anyone here like percussion ensembles? Another thing I played in for school that I absolutely loved. We played Bayport Sketch and I was on the xylophone for that one. Very, very, very cool piece and also a lot of fun to play (well, at least I thought my part was). I don't really know any other songs for percussion ensembles other than Samba for Mallets, which I can take or leave.

mmm...my fav piano piece is clair de lune. It's really impressive to play even though it's not that hard.
